Ya jeez you better get on it! My doctor said I have a 2 year window then I need to be done having babies. Mini was a pretty big feat for me but worth all of it!

I''m 26, so not that old yet! K is 31, though, so he needs to get a move on. Ideally, I''d like to be done having kids by the time he''s 37ish, DEFINITELY by the time he''s 40. My mom had kids late (37 for me and 40 for my sisters), so I''m not too worried about my baby making longevity.

I do have to say, though, that there is a lot of pressure from my parents to wait as long as possible to have kids. It makes the whole wanting kids relatively soon thing pretty depressing because I feel like they won''t even be excited about it--they''ll just be disappointed in me. It''s like my college graduation all over again: something they should be excited about but instead I just end up feeling like a failure.

Aww, thanks WL.

My parents are normally great--they just have very specific and high expectations. When I graduated college, they were disappointed that I didn''t get magna cum laude (despite graduating with a double major having been on academic overload every semester). When a friend of mine said "Oh, you must be really proud!" my mom looked at me and said "Well, we''ll see once she gets a job." It was one of the worst days of my life.
