Freke, SIMS3 didn''t play well on my comp! It was so infuriating! It kept freezing and I have a newer MAC. How''s yours?

Wow, yeah same thing with me! It was fun for a little bit but it just. did. not. work!!! So frustrating! I just gave up after a few times. What''s the deal with that?!?! I have a MAC that''s about a year old.

So far so good. We actually bought 2 new computers (woot for early online black friday sales!) and one of them is a super fancy gaming computer. So it runs really well on that one.

We don''t have the other computer yet...but it doesn''t have a video card or any fancy specs, so I don''t think it will run on that one. It takes a lot of high numbers though.

(I have to confess that we got the fancy computer because FI wanted me to be able to play Sims 3 on it. He''s such a good guy...)

Dell. They had this deal that expired at 3pm one day, and FI IMs me, "Hey, do you want to pay $1,200 for two laptops? One is better than yours with a video card and the other one is almost as good as yours. The fancy one is $899 and the cheap one is $200 in this deal, and together normally they are $2,400. I think it''s a good deal, and I might be able to qualify for financing."
Me: "Whatever you want babe."
FI: "I want you to be able to play the Sims..."
Me: "...awwww..."
FI: "I''m going to get them. I think this is a great deal."

We had already been shopping for new laptops, since mine is starting to flip out on me, and his plastic cover is cracking, so it was just good timing.

And then a week later the fancy one arrived, and we''re still waiting for the other one.

But I''d look at the computer sites and Best Buy and see what they''ve got going on for Black Friday and before BF. They have so many sales going on right now...

I''m really torn on the JJs. They''re SO comfy, but the size I bought stretched out a lot. I bought it one size smaller ( a new pair!) and i''m afraid they won''t stretch out! I mean... I KNOW they stretch out but i wore them for like 10 -15 minutes and they didnt stretch too much yet.

I can''t remember if the first pair i bought stretched right away or if it happened over time.
