wow, i''m gone for two days and i miss almost 20 pages?! at least you guys made my small-talk summary easy this time.
annnnnnnnnnnnd for the small-talk thanksgiving menu:
we start off with weiners (and somehow end with bacon wrapped hot dogs, not sure how that happened)
you can put them in mac and cheese, but even if you choose to have spaghettio''s or cheddar or sour cream and chives ruffled lays, wine is the only way to go this holiday season.
as for the turkey you can have it traditionally (be that roasted like a pig or doused in gravy) and if you attempt to cut calories, you might save a few by taking off the skin. chicken seems to be a runner up for meat this year.
side wise sweet potatoes seem to be a favorite, but if not you can always adopt the WL re-gurgitated food instead strategy. while corn, salad, yogurt, beans, pickles, and even a banana made an appearance, sorry HIS but i think you''re out of luck on the health aspect this year. and it seems like stuffing sans onions and celery is the only way to go (no muffins please.)
cheese was apparently a big hit (probably aided greatly by its natural pairing with wine) although some of the cheese names sounded more like dead people than moldy milk product to me.
seeing as somehow the spider topic returned but the last mention of spider was a sushi recommendation of a spider roll (which i second and also vote for anything salmon) i''m hoping that the in love with a stipper doesn''t re-appear in food form, but i''m sure that poop will transform into poop cake, which could be a dessert since freke did volunteer sweets for laundry services. (shiiiiiiiiiiiiiny rings. i am suitably distracted. thank you)
while peanut butter is a strong contender, the divide between smooth and chunky left it vulnerable to the onslaught of PIE. there is no explination for PIE, there is just the experience.
all in all, this year, skip the munchies and head straight for the wine. the calories are more fun that way.
