What is white coffee?

White coffee is just regular coffee beans (Columbian, mokka harrar, malabar, etc.) that are only roasted until they turn a khaki color. (to get a "normal" roast -- French, light, etc -- the beans are left in longer until they are the proper shade of brown)

The lighter the roast the higher the caffine.

White coffee is kind of nutty flavored. It really smells bad when you make it as espresso, but the taste is great. Goes especially well (in my opinion) with white chocolate. Combos like coconut & white chocolate or hazelnut & white chocolate are great in white coffee.

I have nothing to do. I''ve offered to help make 2 Thanksgiving dinners and no one is taking me up on my offer to help...

I thought about making white chocolate pumpkin cheesecake, but the pan is at my dad''s house, and I''d have to go buy the ingredients, plus I don''t know that anyone would appreciate my hard work, so I am just sitting here on the couch.

Maybe I could go roast those cornish hens I have in the freezer and make some soup...

I would appreciate your hard work. Just sayin.

So you''re going to use the CGH for soup or make CGH AND soup? I lvoe CGHs stuffed with wild rice and glazed with cranberry. YUMM!!!!

Roast them and then make them into soup. So only soup. Unfortunately, they are still frozen...

lol my friends were texting and messaging my FI to have him make me put pics up. but i have a lot of out-of-town friends who won''t see me again til the wedding if they can make it so i gave in.

Freke, i gladly take donations of food. especially the donations that come on plates, already warm. i do dishes

so has anyone made their own vino using the juice concentrate method?

Like? I feel really weird about getting re-married. Not like I don''t want to weird but like is it fair that I get to have another wedding and all the attention etc. I''m a little insecure about what other people will think I guess. Funny thing is I''m not usually the type to care what other people think but...

The fact that she''s a puppy is good for you. Keep the water warm, fill it up so it hits her belly, and keep her collar on so you have sometime to keep hold of. And talk her through it with soft nice words and lots of praise.

Sorry, I wasn''t sure if your statement was in reference to another thread. I don''t think you''re weird at all. I don''t subscribe to social norms and expectations for the most part. I believe everyone has a right to happiness and if having a wedding, whether it''s your first or fifth, makes you happy then you should go for it. You also have Reece and your family (you FI and lil one) to take into consideration. The wedding in this case isn''t just about you and FI, it''s a symbol of melding your family together into one. It''s about FI becoming Reece''s stepdad/dad formally. You seem level-headed and with it enough to know what''s over the top or tacky (like big princess dress and carriages) for an event like this, but no, I don''t think having a traditional wedding for your second marriage is out of line.
