The LIW Small Talk Thread

Ha! I don''t know any lawyers (mostly uneducated rednecks

) but that would be supremely annoying.

Bia, I am also not down with mitten.

Everyone light a candle and say a prayer for the 787 flight today. This is HUGE for my company since we built half the darn thing! We''ve got champagne on the ready...

Haha. That, along with completely obliterating any chance of social life, is exactly why I''m rethinking going.

And the really annoying law school students post obscure passages from their readings as facebook statuses on a regular basis to make themselves seem intelligent.

If you had to choose between two great (and big) gifts or a bunch of smaller ones, which would you choose?

So my budget this year for T''s Christmas presents is $400-$500. So far I''ve spent $200 of that on his new Zune. He also wants this new Beatles boxed set and a ton of other stuff. The CDs are $200, which would leave a little for stocking stuffers, etc. but not much room for anything else. The "other stuff" he wants adds up to around $200 as well.

Which option would you choose?

but see that''s just it. He wouldn''t buy this other stuff for himself either. And TBH buying more stuff = more shopping = more fun for me...The CD''s I''m just ordering from Amazon...and his birthday is in March so theoretically I could get it for him then.....hmmmm....

I do not fart in front of J. That''s just how I was raised - go to the bathroom! I realize during pregnancy/labor/illness that pooping and farting WILL happen, and thats fine. I''m not uncomfortable with farting, I just spare people if I can!

He pees in front of me, I do not pee in front of him.

We would NEVER poop with the door open or with someone in the shower while we were on the toilet.

I''m super modest when it comes to bathroom stuff. I dont like him in there when I''m doing anything. Occasionally he is, and its not a big deal, but I prefer my privacy. I have always been that way.

Since his bday is coming up pretty soon, maybe one big and some littles for each occasion?

Well, if you want to shop, HH, then I''d say get him all the little things and save the Beatles for his Bday...ESPECIALLY since he won''t buy them for himself!

Um, one of the biggest benefits to being married is guilt-free farting infront of one''s partner. My favorite is to fart quietly right as I''m getting out of the car in the morning when he drops me off at work. So the smell blows back into the car and gets trapped in there
