Best chocolate ever.

I was going to their website to get a recipe for a cake I've made and love and it doesn't work. Tried searching and clicking links. None of them work. All I can find is information about Hershey buying them, all of the plants closing, and production being moved to Illinois.


Anyone know anything?
They aren't getting rid of Scharffenberger are they?

I visited the Scharffenberger (sp?) factory in Berkeley a few years ago. The whole neighborhood smells like chocolate! I kind of hate that Hershey bought them...

The FB Groups are all broken. If you chat in a group discussion they are all messed up.

It is amazing. Makes the best cakes & cookies. It is so smooth and rich to just eat too. Their 72% is the BEST.

B made me mini volcano cakes for my birthday. Picture this really dark chocolate cake with a melty chocolate ganach center. Served next to vanilla bean soy icecream with a nice merlot....


You have got to get a bar at Whole Foods. Skip the candy aisle. Go straight for the baking section and get the 9oz bar. I think they are even on sale right now.

I started my countdown to going off of the pill. January 1, 2012.

So when I was a kid, like 1st grade through 8th, I was bff with this girl. One day she totally disowned me. To this day I don''t know why, she just got all too cool for school and such. Anyway, she was a ballet dancer all through childhood and most definitely had an ED. She was SO skinny! Anyway, she randomly friended me on FB yesterday and I''m thrilled to see that she''s overweight now. Sadly it''s not because she''s happy, but because she''s kind of fat and I''m clearly still resentful of her abandoning me because I wasn''t as cool as her (was the fat kid).

(I had to put in a date when I signed up...just so I had a place to store vendor info an stuff.) I put in our 3 year anniversary cuz that would be my dream date. And that''s only 18 months away! I actually dont even want to wait until 2012. If we get preggers RIGHT when I go off, I''ll still be 30 when I have the kid. I wanted to do it a little earlier but I just dont see how its possible. I wish I could go off in 2011.

I''ve only found one I''ll eat. So Delicious (that is the name of it).

Their vanilla bean is great with pies and stuff and my mother (who hates soy) was amazed by the mocha almond fudge.

It is so good that I''ve served it with dessert to guests and had them ask to see the container because it can''t possibly be soy.

When J and I started dating, he did NOT want kids. At all.

The longer we were together, the more he loved the idea of us having a family.

We''d like two. But I want the first one out of diapers before we have the second, and I''d also like to be done by 35. Tight schedule!
