tell me about it. I stayed up last night playing PS3 (Uncharted...again!) Now I have to start the sequel because you can''t do one and not the other.

And I didn''t work out yesterday

OMG, I can''t get over how absolutely freakin'' adorable Fiery''s daughter is in her avatar, with the cute little pom-pommed hat! I don''t typically gush over babies, bur hers is unbelievably cute! I can''t stand it!!!

Surprisingly when i woke up this morning I looked thinner.

Maybe I''m all bloat, and drinking a lot of water recently has helped.

Ummmm, did you all READ my lunch from yesterday??? LOL. Dinner was non-existant, though...I was still full! So I think my calories might have somewhat balanced out. Weigh-in is tomorrow morning...I''m a little scared.
32.gif
Especially since I also didn''t go to the gym yesterday (Bad VC!) I left my gym clothes at home.

39.gif
Haha. Left-over term from several attempts at Weight Watchers.
20.gif

Went when I was 13. I had to get a doctor''s note to say I could stop losing because even though I wasn''t in their "range" yet, I was starting to feel skeletal and my cheeks were hollowing out.
3.gif

Went back a couple times in college. Yes, a couple. Managed to gain it all back and more the first time, but managed to keep about half of it off the second time. The problem is they don''t teach you to eat healthy. They just assign Points to foods and you eat a certain number of points. 2 apples and a 100 calorie pack of cheetos have the same Points value, but not NEARLY the same nutritional value. But what do you think people eat? So when I stopped, my eating habits hadn''t changed, and I gained it back.

I''m doing WAY better now with just tracking my food online. It also tracks basic nutrients and water, so I''m actually changing habits instead of just eating less.

**end testimonial, lol**

ugh... that is a rather fatal flaw in WW! I''ve heard people say it really worked for them, but you''re right, if you don''t choose healthy foods... you''re not doing yourself any favors even if you DO lose weight.

my new *thing* is to just choose healthy over junky initially, and but not really restrict myself, ya know? try to fill up on veggies, but also have a cupcake. That way I don''t feel like I''m missing out.

plus Im drinking crazy amounts of water. my skin is thanking me!

That''s totally what I''m doing, too. Eat healthy, and indulge my sweet tooth every once in awhile. Oh yeah, and burn calories in the gym. No cupcake guilt, and no impending sweets binge if I stop myself from eating them for too long!

Gah! SO hard for me to get to the gym.

I signed up for a cardio class once a week with a girlfriend of mine (easy, Bia!) ... that''ll be my start. I wanted to join the Y but didnt want to be the a-hole who joins January 2. I''m going to wait until the NY resolution people start leaving (say... mid Feb!) and then I''ll join.

Having it at work definitely makes it easier. But it''s still hard sometimes!!!

And the January 2 a-hole thing made me giggle.

Ok, do any of you in ST have *really* dry skin and have a moisturizer that they love?

No matter how much water I drink, or moisturizer I use, I still have a bit of flaking. Its driving me crazy!

I don''t really have a dryness problem...anymore. Try buying a humidifier for your apartment. Turn it on while you''re home and sleeping. Keeps moisture in your skin longer...and it totally makes breathing easier while our heaters are working overtime to try and dry you out.

I have been using the humidifier, too! Argh!

I''ve been eating carrots nonstop for the Vitamin A, also. I need to start eating flax seed for the omega 3s. My skin needs some rehab!

I tried Philosophy Hope in a Jar last night - it made my skin clearer, but its still a little dry.

My elbows and arms are really dry and once a dermatologist gave me a prescription lotion. It was awesome! I don''t remember the name, though.

Wow... I need some of that! I didn''t realize you could get prescription lotion! What the heck is in it that you can''t get it OTC?

Apparently my cupcakes went over well at J''s office. Someone offered to buy him a cappucinno if he brought in two more.

I like Aveeno for my body - it works well. Also neutrogena lotion works well on me.
