You know what really blows? Having 3 bug bites on my foot. I have 2 on 2 knuckles of my middle toes, and one next to my heel. Shoes are not fun today.

so ladies, i need 500 lbs of dust here. We are *hoping* to get into a 2bed/2bath for what we are paying now for a 1bed/1bath. its our same complex, and we would just be transfering our lease over.

wish us luck! we should find out by next week. ooo...now i am thinking of all the *NEW* things to put on a registry!!!

just wanted to check in and see how you ladies are doing. i haven't been very proactive on PS these past several days, but i have been so busy and seriously stressed out! i've been in the process of sprucing up my parents house for the new renters, cleaning out our condo, my uncle is in town since my grandmother has been in the hospital for complications with her Alzheimer's, and i've been trying to help out my mom at her jewelry shop.

on the other hand, i do have a little bit of good news. besides my car, i am so very close to being completely debt free!!!!

jcar, i'm sending tons and tons and tons of *DUST* your way!

anyway i miss you ladies, and here's a pic of BF and i celebrating my b-day this past weekend. i think i look drunk in this pic.

Friday FI and I, my older brother and his GF are getting dinner with my parents. Saturday I have my 2nd fitting, and FINALLY my mom gets to see me in a wedding dress, in person, for the first time. She''s super excited. I''m getting lunch/brunch with my mom and my bro''s GF on Saturday. My mom will probably take me shopping on Saturday, then we''ll get dinner just me, mom, stepdad, and FI. Sunday everyone is getting brunch together, including FI''s parents, before my parents leave on Sunday morning.

Should be a pretty good weekend!

We actually do stay in hotels while we''re there. We''re a very privacy oriented family... that''s a nice way of putting it, right?

In other words, we like to have our time apart, too. Plus it''s more fun for us if we''re on the strip, rather than at their place which is 40 minutes away from the strip.

It IS fun, but it''s not my kind of town, I''d say. The constant 24 hour vibe of LV can be exhausting. Something is always going on there! I am not a gambler/drinker, but I do enjoy shopping and laying by the pool. Plus the first time you go, it''s really fun exploring all of the hotels!

I sent my bro to James Allen... and he''s been snooping around on there. I''m supposed to dig for more info about the stone, see if she really does want a princess cut, or if maybe she likes another cut. That''s my mission at the gown fitting this Saturday, should I choose to accept it!

I love that you don''t have to stay with your parents! I feel really uncomfortable staying in other people''s houses, most often. Well, not my parents'', but most other people. My family likes their privacy as well, so everyone gives each other personal space. But DH''s family is very . . . open (some might say "instrusive"). I''m totally the grumpy "black sheep" who needs alone-time when we''re around his family.

Shopping and laying by the pool sounds nice!!

You''re a good sister to help out your brother with the ring purchase. I hope to do the same for my brother someday...


... I''m supposed to writing a motion, but I got all overwhelmed by the 16 Westlaw windows I have open, and kind of gave up. Now I keep viewing my wedding photo slideshow over and over (it''s got all the best shots). Must go back to motion. Motion, motion motion. Ugh.

thanks for the dust ladies. i want this place soo bad. its the same for what we pay now! and it will be bottom floor, so we will have a larger deck. the only thing is we will lose our view, and it wont be as hot in our place (which right now, is a good thing!)
