Yeah, he''s still a puppy. 4-5 months and just so dang adorable.

Elle, that''s exciting. I''m happy to hear updates every five minutes if you want to give them. []

OH! And a friend of mine is proposing this weekend! I don''t want to give any details on the weird off chance she lurks on here, but I''m super excited for him. He''s been planning the ring and the proposal since October, and trying to find the right ring and the right time to ask her dad and the right time to ask her and it''s just so adorable and romantic. He''s all proud of himself for arranging it. SO CUTE.

As I was making dinner, I realized I forgot to answer your question about Atlantic City, princess.
FI and I go to the Borgata, which is in the ''nice'' part of AC, lol. It is fairly new (I''d say no more than 5 years old) and is so beautiful. They recently built another hotel and spa next to the Borgata called The Water Club, which is simply stunning.
If you can, put on Hell''s Kitchen next week (this week''s episode starts at 9), and they will show some of the Borgata as the prize for the winner is a head chef position at a Borgata restaurant. FI and I stay away from all of the other casinos with the exception of Cesars, which has amazing shopping (LV, Gucci, Burberry, Tiffany!!!, Ferragamo along with more affordable stores like VS, Bebe and others I can''t remember now). There are also awesome outlets (Coach, Aldo, Skechers, Guess, etc).

Freke, do you have a pic of what the new ring will look like?

UGH! I feel vomitous (NOT a word) with nerves.

FF is shopping for the setting right now and I feel like I'm having a manic episode.

I can't talk to anyone about it but LIW, so you guys are get inundated with reminders about the fact that J is shopping for a ring right now.

Hey... did I tell you guys? He's shopping for a ring?

Sigh... never gets old.

ELLE!!! That is so exciting! It will be so soon. Yay!


Not sure I have much to add for small talk. Things with SO are great, I expect a proposal sometime this summer but I know it won't happen until certain financial things are in place. Otherwise... yeah. Job is ok, I'm ok (not great, depression/GAD acting up for non-SO reasons but I'm trying to cope). I watched Private Practice tonight which was beyond disturbing!

I love May too...it''s by b-day, we''re getting married next May and then when I''m a momma it''s mother''s day too! Yup...I''m thinking way too far ahead!

This weekend.... Sushi,then dessert/drinks with some friends.

Tomorrow... Training to be a "dog walker" at the humane society to volunteer, then hanging out with one of my girlfriends.

Sunday... my day of rest. I will do nothing and love every minute of it.

Obligatory PS Status Update:
- I was 30 minutes late to work toady
- We get to wear jeans to work today which makes me happy
- I''m starving already and it''s only 8:30

It would have to be a "Happy Birthday Princesss and Sammyj" thread. Go birthday twins!!! Y''all are too funny. (Yeah, I said "y''all," wanna fight about it?)

So I was teasing BF the other day, asking him what he was doing on Friday night so that I could say, "Not hanging out with me, bucko, I''ve got a PS GTG!" I was expecting him to say he was spending time with me. Instead I find out he''s got tickets to the VIP area of my favourite bar! One of the guys we play Ultimate with had an extra ticket and called BF to see if he wanted to go. So instead of me having the best plans ever and getting to tease him for being lame, he''s going to my favourite bar without me (it''s a dueling piano bar and freaking AMAZING). Lame. Oh well, at least I get to see some lovely PS ladies. And have an awesome Waldorf salad.

today - work both jobs, consider going out later that night. but i will be DD, so probably not
saturday - possibly attend a WW meeting. go to freddies, pick up wet vac and plants. spring clean hard core, and wet vac the carpets. i hate apartment carpets. go to wine tasting and then watch soccer.
Sunday - clean some more, wet vac again, return vac and wind up spending money on plants. <-- it always happens that way. watch more soccer.

Aw, elle, that's awesome that you're going to volunteer at the humane society!
I'd be worried I'd wanna take all of the kitties home with me. Then, I'd have to get another kitty, and FI would not be too happy about that.
My dad is opening his restaurant today, so I'm super excited about that. My brother told me that my dad's business partner will be bringing Vince Fumo over!!!!!

tonight-visiting my dad's restaurant and hitting the mall up- macy's has 25% off friends and family coupon (if anyone wants one lemme know) and 30% off at foot locker friends and family!)
tomorrow-kitten needs to have his shots, then laundry and cleaning. Then, watching the race at Richmond.
sunday- probably sleep till noon and watch the Phillies
carly-what kind of plants? how did the exotic fish cook go?

Epic sad this morning: a friend''s house caught on fire yesterday, and burned mostly to the ground before the fire/rescue team could get there. She and her family are okay (thank goodness!), but they can''t find their dog! I feel so terrible, and I hope their dog is okay -- she''s about 9 years old, and has some hip problems, and it would just break my heart if she didn''t make it out.

Oh no misskitty! That's terrible news, I'm sorry to hear it.

I would be a wreck if it was my dog. I can't even imagine how horrible this feels--to lose one's house and not know where your beloved pet is. I pray their doggy made it out okay. **dust**

ah man, thats just terrible. i am always afraid of that at my place too
