Ah guys, sorry to crash the thread, but I feel silly and I''m about to burst. I just got a Fed Ex package and I *think* that it''s the ring from James Allen. But I know he''s not going to propose immediately but I *know* the ring is here now and I really really want to see it. Is it wrong to see the ring (and post pictures of it on PS) before he technically proposes?

Haha, I just bombarded his work e-mail. You got a package from NY! What is it? (Ten seconds later.) OMG it''s the ring! He laughed and told me DO NOT OPEN IT. Eeee I just got another e-mail from him saying that we''ll open it at lunch in an hour.

You guys are sweet! (I love it here on PS.) I''ve lurked but haven''t posted in LIW because I felt that if I knew about the ring, proposal, wedding stuff in advance then I technically wasn''t "waiting". But I definitely feel like a LIW at this moment.

I know, we''re totally going at this all wrong if we had wanted to do the romantic surprise. But I picked the ring, and he plans the proposal. Really, we''ve just had everything planned out together, all we''re doing now is making everything "official".

i did! thank you! i am still a bit said that i can''t use the original setting (to fragile and needs to be rebuilt), however the new setting is gorgeous, and E did pick it out

Well you get the best of both worlds! The sentimentality of the stone and a setting that''s personal for you two! Hehe, so can you rebuild the original setting for a future special occasion ring? Hehe sorry, I''m always plotting!
