I have no issue with kenny or his topics. However he should take some of his own suggestions. If you can dish it out then please don't cry about it afterwards when you feel you have been wronged. Then again it does make PS more like a soap opera.

I don't "know" Kenny, but have lurked for a long time and I think he contributes a lot though he never responds to me either

I think his break is probably a mix of taking some time to self reflect on what he's posting, but also maybe to make us all miss him a little bit. It's not a bad thing. I think he likes a little attention and to stir things up a little when he can. That's what makes things on PS so interesting, all the colorful characters! Hope to see him back well after a good holiday with his loved ones.

I don't think so, only because on his profile page next to approved it says "yes" - I think if you're on a time-out it says no.

There is no story. Threads are deleted for other reasons other than rule breaking and Kenny is welcome to participate as soon as he feels he would like to. There have been no time outs lately.

I never read the now deleted thread. When I saw the title I thought it would be controversial. But without a little controversy, a little spice to quicken the pulse, all we really have to talk about is the price of diamonds in Belgium. I hope that Kenny feels comfortable to return and share with us all his highly intelligent and refined perspective soon.

Smith1942 has signed off for good, I think. I already miss her jewelry hunts. She's fun & smart. Wish she would come back. So many great people have left in the relatively short time I've been here & I miss them!

I think she may have accidentally deleted herself before she decided to come back. She asked the mods to remove her after 'the thread/s that shall not be named', but then came back because her account was still active. After that she posted happily in SMTB, and never returned . It makes me think she was thinking about coming back but had already set the ball in motion of being deleted and now is gone?

I liked her posts too, they were detailed and interesting to read.

I was just reading a thread in RockyTalky and came across a post by Kenny, and I got so happy thinking he is back, yay! but then realized the post was from April 2012, and it was an old thread that someone had revived... I miss Kenny.
