Thanks for asking, It wasn't so good. I had some concerns for the area to the back (the bit you can barely reach) of my cervix because it feels rough to the touch, it seems there might be issues there so I had the smear (yawn!) and 3 biopsies taken of this new area. Thankfully I got the local anaesthetic so it wasn't too painful but boy am I sore now.
But the appoint was strange: 1# This is the Dr. that referred me for the ultrasound I have in 2 weeks. I reminded her and said I would see her in 2 weeks and she asked why am I having an ultrasound, had my GP referred me? I said no she had, for possible polyps and she said no that doesn't sound right perhaps she thought I had PCOS, I said oh but my cycles are regular? It was very uncomfortable. #2 I said I wouldn't POAS this cycle but I did and I have a positive OPK - and we can't BD for 3 days and our last
was Sunday. 
. So all in all the appt was sucky and today is sucky.
And honestly I had hopes that she would help me out with info at least during the ultrasound and perhaps even refer me for testing but from today I think she won't. She didn't even talk to me once she had finished the exam - her nurse ushered me out the door to change. I want to say I'm crabby about it but really I just wanna curl up. Normally she is so nice...
Plus I had secret hopes that between last month's possible chemical and the month before when I was convinced I was knocked up - that this would be our month. I have never waited on cycle without BD'ing before & after and possibly on O day. Boo-hoo me, eh?

As for me -- I POAS this morning at 9DPO and got a BFN, which is what I expected. Only 14.6% of positive pregnancy tests are reported before 9 DPO in the HPT Gallery.
The thing is, PingOAS has unleashed a monster, and now that's all I want to do.
But I'm starting to feel slight cramps, which either mean that I'm pregnant or I'm not pregnant. If you recall, my pre-O chart was not ideal -- but the temps were erratic and "Rocky Mountain"llike. My post-O temping has also not been ideal, but my temps the last 6 days have been ridiculously flat: 98.4 for 2 days, 98.3 for 2 days, 98.4 for 2 more days. Kind of starting to think I'm not KTFU. Also working on a theory that time actually slows down during the 2WW.
Lots of dust for all of you!

RyanClaire - I knew that with all of us doing medicated IUI's, one of them had to work out. LOTS of sticky dust being sent your way. Yippee!!!
DCG - Ditto the others who are saying to ask your doctor's office if they'll see you just a touch later than they normally would. 2 out of the 3 times I went in for my IUI, it was during their standard lunch break (it's the only time my husband could drop off his "sample"). They made the time for me after a little bit of pushing/insistence on my part. Never hurts to try...?

Steal - I am catching a 6:30 am flight back on Monday morning that gets in at 9:00 am, so that I could go straight to work. It was also about 150 cheaper to fly in on Monday morning instead of Sunday. I agree with the lazy bastard thing. More on that at the bottom... As for you appt, ugh, that doc does sound like a total dud, kinda like my moronic nurse. I am sorry that it was such a bad experience, but I hope that everything will be ok. Big hug to you my dear!

So, let's just say I am done with my stupid nurse. Long story short, I talked to some people at the office who recommended that I call the other office directly to see if they would take me later than 9, and SHOCKER, they would take me up until 11:30. ARRGGGHHHHH . Seriously, if I could call and ask this, couldn't the nurse do the same damn thing, and furthermore, shouldn't she know this already and try to help me out. I tell ya, what a pain in my A*S! And seriously, all this stress for nada!
Anywho, problem solved now. I am getting a new nurse and will be starting my protocal tonight (I think) and will go to the other office on Monday morning for monitoring. Hurrah! Thanks ladies for your opinions and ideas. I really appreciate you all rallying for me, I feel so loved.

Ssssh. Between you and me I have talked DH into my evil plan which hopefully won't see me back in the Dr's office tomorrow with blood loss... But will result in a deposit being made . I know I know. Nobody needs to say it. But seriously you should see this +OPK. It is a full pink line, the same colour as the control. It is begging me, calling to me, mocking me.... And I so desperately want to get KFU.
BTW, O on CD16/17...who'd of thunk it?

haha... I got the same message today on FF And now I am reading about implantation dips because I had one yesterday and ya gotta kill time somwhow. When do you plan to test again? Any idea when AF is due? She is due Thursday/Friday for me.

You will O 12-36 hours after the positive. So my vote is for option E. Or even RIGHT NOW and tomorrow evening, if you can swing it . Then you will be covered. ETA: and the possibility that you O only 12 hours after a positive is why it is a good idea to get busy before you get a positive OPK too, if you can. That session you had a few days ago (when was that?) could really help!!

Steal-I vote you should BD as soon as possible today (as long as there aren't serious complications!!! As much as you want to get KU if you get a cervix infection, or damage, or scar tissue, it could make things even more difficult! Plus, we love you and don't want you to have any yuckiness of that sort!)

You can use your imagination (if you didn't wear it out with your 10 day marathon!) on my evil plan because I can't risk 'poking' my cervix. Well you didn't need to use your imagination there really did you? I just spelled it out. I have no shame. So anyhoo the deposit will be made but we will skip the entrees, main course and go straight to desert
He works about 2 ish hours away factoring in the traffic.

DH is afraid of hurting me - I'm on my 6th painkiller today and it is only 4.30pm AND I had a local, so after my whining about being sore I can hardly tell him to hop to it. So I convinced him to DTD tomorrow morning and am hoping to bring that forward to tonight with a bit of persuasion. I will see if he is up for it sooner..... prob not. Wow, I'll bet there are folks out there that would pay $2.99/min to read this kinda talk over t'internet. Thanks D! P.s **DUST**

Well, I have 5 FRERs left, so regardless of what I'm planning
I will probably test each morning for the next 5 days! Actually my plan is to test again tomorrow morning, and then wait until maybe Saturday to try again. Unfortunately since this is my first cycle after BCP, I have no idea when to expect AF.

Steal I may be crazy, but in your shoes I would be tempted to go buy a syringe of some aort at the pharmacy, and a little jar of some sort and, ya know, make the deposit today in a way that will not harm the cervix at all! haha. I suppose CD 15 is possible, but with only one day of possible fertile CF and those high temps in the "pre-O" range as well it makes it even more difficult to try to pinpoint anything. The EW you noticed may not have been true EW. There is a type of "sticky" CF that is not fertile and very easy to mistake for EW if you are not experienced -- I mistook it for EW my first cycle charting off BCP. It is more rubbery that runny, and if you stretch it far enough it will detach from one finger and sort of snap back. Real EW will not break, it is like very very wet snot when you have a cold. Like imagine you have a cold and clear snot, and then you cry and thus produce a tonne of mucus from your nose. THAT is what tru EW is like and most of the time it will be evident for a couple days. As it dries as fertility decreases it becomes more like the sticky CF I described earlier.
Steal I may be crazy, but in your shoes I would be tempted to go buy a syringe of some aort at the pharmacy, and a little jar of some sort and, ya know, make the deposit today in a way that will not harm the cervix at all! haha. Steal, Honestly, I would do the DIY IUI too...I'm sure if you google it you can find something that works (I think a lot of ladies use an INSTEAD cup to capture the "deposit" and slip it into you, also a turkey baster works...it doesn't really make sense to do the deed if you are in that much pain AND could endanger your health if you poke your cervix...especially since there are other methods that are pretty successful (sometimes more successful) to getting the good stuff where it needs to be...

Bella, glad to hear the adoption process has made you less stressed about TTCing. I think you'll be given only what you can handle, so if that's two babies close together, I have faith you will do great. In my hunt for emoticons I came across an adoption one.

DD- It was definitely snot like mucus, right there when I wiped. It was first thing AM, too. I didn't have the right "collection technique" prior to your post, so it's entirely possible I may have missed some good CM specimen (either that or maybe I was collecting semen from BDing?). I'm going to test next weekend assuming my bleeding last month was AF and that I'm on a 28CD round. There are just too many if's, ugh

DC - so glad the timing was worked out so that you can move forward this cycle with the injections. How many days will you be doing the injections? I did them only 2 days and they were super easy. Fingers crossed for you.

Hmmmm. This could be a good sign--not to get too excited yet, but it could be implantation spotting! The progesterone supps shouldn't cause any breakthrough bleeding--if anything they would help keep it away and keep your luteal phase nice and long. I had a tiny bit of spotting on 11 DPO when I got KU, and assumed it was AF but obviously it wasn't.

Mine is only a day or 2 max. I noticed that there was an abundant the morning after I get a smiley on the OPK.
Drinking water doesn't seem to work for me.
Mine used to be ~4 days in my younger years, so I just atrributed the lack of ew to old age

I have found the OB and REs I’ve come in contact with throughout my fertility journey to be very perfunctory and apathetic… it never instills confidence to have to remind someone of the details of what THEY told you to do.
