The Official TTC Thread!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Does anybody else find themselves feeling incredibly fatigued the 2-3 days right after ov? I'm realizing now that it happens pretty much every month. I get to work and just CANNOT concentrate, can't stop yawning, and want nothing else but to curl up and take a nap. DH ate dinner without me yesterday because I came home from work and immedlately passed out - I got up around 7 and felt like a zombie until bedtime. I've read that progesterone can make you feel fatigued - it's part of the reason so many women can hardly keep their eyes open in early pregnancy - so I guess maybe it's how my body reacts to the sudden increase? After my temp has been up for 4-5 days I start to feel a bit better.

Sure, you like cheap wine? Lol

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Congrats RT! Sticky dust sticky dust! I actually drank a bottle of white the night before my positive, lol. Other than that it's NYC tap water!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Ha, so much for alcohol having a negative effect on fertility. Congrats, RT!

ladyciel, I don't have the symptoms you mention 2-3DPO but I do get very irritable. I think it's from estrogen crash.

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Hahaha, man, maybe I should sneak some booze into my LP...

Baby M, I get the total grumps as part of PMS, but not around ov that I've noticed. For my fatigue I think it's the progesterone spike, rather than the estrogen drop, because of timing. My estrogen-type CM always dries up by 0 or 1DPO, but I never get the fatigue until 2-3DPO when my temp (and presumably progesterone) is higher.

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Hormones, so different for everyone and change with time. I used to get PMS before first pregnancy. Then it shifted to PMDD where I get super irritable at CD16-17 (CD14 O) but no more PMS. My GP wanted to put me on SSRIs but I just manage it with diet and exercise. And putting a reminder on my calendar not to go on a rampage during those 2 days!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Fairly certain this isn't a viable pregnancy. My lines are pretty much non existent now.

It wouldn't be so bad if 10 days from now wasn't my original due date for my m/c back in September :nono:

That does double suck. I would be 3 weeks away from EDD for the chemical I had at the end of September. I hope your next one sticks!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Hugs RT.

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Oh RT. Big hugs sweetheart xx

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

So so sorry, RT. Chemicals are a cruel outcome for us early testers. :(sad

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

Line is back a bit stronger with smu...guess I just keep praying that this works out...14dpo and no AF.

How long is your LP typically? Any chance you can get into the doc for a beta?

My FMU was always lighter than later on in the day. I only got good strong lines bc I was holding it for 7 hours and then testing in the afternoon. You may be able to get a beta from your regular Dr. Best of luck RT!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

AF showed- back to the drawing board.

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I hope you are enjoying some of that cheap wine, RT. Big big hugs.

AFM, I'm trying desperately to not let my hopes get up too much. It's getting harder by the minute, though. My temp was 98.6 yesterday and today, on dpo 4-5 or 5-6, and it never gets or stays that high before 8-10dpo. Then, I've got the sloshy/sloppy feeling today (enough I wish I'd worn a liner... sorry for TIM), and I've never had that outside my fertile window that I can remember. Also, cervix jumped back up and is high again. Feeling a bit :errrr: :appl:

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

good luck, ladyciel!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

I'm so sorry RT but I'm glad for you that this wasn't dragged out, enjoy that wine :)

Any POAS LadyC?

Well, I'm 7dpo, maybe only 6 since my temps were a bit hard to read, so still too early to be testing.

Other than that, my temps just keep rising - 98.8 this morning - and more watery-creamy CM. Oh, and BFN this morning.

hahahahaha I knew you would do it anyway! I didn't realize how early you were, a few more days!

Re: The Official TTC Thread!

It's for science. The more BFN's I enter into fertility friend before a BFP, the more data they have for their BFN-before-BFP collection.

And, cuz why not, here's the link to my chart (set to auto-update): http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/239352
