Poor DH had an asthma attack the other night and hasnt been in the mood since. I picked up 2 dozen oysters that I am desperately trying to figure out how to shuck before he gets home from work for tonight

Missy, what a great feeling to have your mom's support. I haven't told my mother yet that we are TTC, but we've talked baby names at length. That's her way of saying she's ready to be a grandma without being overly pushing like my MIL.

HOT, how did it go with your oysters? You crack me up!

AMC, temps still dropping? Crossing fingers for you!

AFM, soooooo...

10 or 11 dpo here. Faint positive line on two Wondfo HCG sticks this morning. You can see the lines at arm's length and they are still there after an hour. May need to buy a digi, I am not completely convinced. LOL Still, very excited!

DH called me transparent. oh well, at least he knows me well.

I have to say though, if I ever got stuck on a deserted island with only a shucking knife and a pile of oysters to eat, I think I would starve. Those suckers are Hard to open!

amc - woops....that's interesting. Any other interesting stuff going on, symptom-wise? I'd be interested to see what happens to the temps over the next few days. My temps usually start falling on 10/11 dpo in prep for AF.

Sha- DH, the engineer, wants to see a really dark line. I told him I would be happy to pee on stuff for him. LOL

I thought I was out for sure yesterday because I was getting a bit of brownish stretchy CM, similar to pre-period for me. Still some today, so we'll see.

AMC! I did a wedding cruise too I distinctly remember that stretch of time between when people started booking airfare/hotels, etc, and when I could safely have an "oops" and be under 24 weeks for the wedding. Such a stressful period! I was nearly to the point that I wouldn't allow any DTD

Good luck! I hope you get the news you're wishing for.

Where did you go, and what line were you on? We aren't getting married through the cruise line, but at a beachside hotel the morning of embarkation.

AFM, unfortunately, I'm 10 dpo (miscounted earlier somehow) and feel like AF is getting ready to show up tomorrow. Sigh. I’m excited that the BFPs keep on coming for all of you ladies, but I wish my body would get the memo too!

Trust me, I do feel like a bit of a jacka$$ for being on a TTC board and being worried about being preggo. Irony is cute, isn't it? And no, not even tempted to test. Even a little. I figure it's my first month temping and I might just be the type who doesn't get a temp drop until right before AF. So that's my glimmer of hope that I'm sticking with. Does anyone think it's wierd that my high temps have all been exactly the same? Either 97.73 or 97.74? I've had 4 days (although not consecutive) of that same temp. I mean I know I'm a regular person, but sheesh.

MP--I have so many things crossed for you that I look like a pretzel. It's not over 'till AF sings. The end of the 2WW really drags by.

amc--you'll know one way or another in a few days. I'm sure the end of your 2WW is dragging as well, but hoping for AF instead a BFP.

HOT, we all know that BDing isn't necessarily romantic when you're TTC, but it makes for funny stories for your friends Try not to injure yourself shucking those oysters!

MQ! BF-Congratulations!!!! My DH is an engineer too and was totally skeptical until I got a dark line. I suggest you test Wondofos on tap water too, so your DH can see the difference. That is what FINALLY convinced my DH that I was indeed pregnant. Never mind I was a week late for AF... Sticky dust to you, m'dear!!!

Monkey, I'm glad to hear your DH's friend's contact was able to get you some more insight into the company and you're moving forward. Ain't nothing wrong with more interview practice, and worse comes to worse you'll get the nervousness over with so you'll be a PRO doing it for any interviews to come. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed & eagle poses for you.

HOT, you're SO FUNNY with the oysters. I honestly am too scared to shuck them myself, so you're way more with it than I am. So hilarious your DH "called you out" on them. I would've been like, "What? I thought you like oysters... "

AMC, I just looked at all my past charts. My temps stay up until the day before AF, then shoot all the way down past the cover line on CD1.

AFM, I'm pretty sure AF showing up today, started as spotting, but now I'm seeing red. So I'm happy I don't have to wait anymore and wonder the heck is going on!!

amc, I was TOTALLY kidding. I will be thrilled for you if you are pregnant because it seems like you are ready for it if it happens. Plenty of people join this thread before they are actually trying, so no need to feel bad about hoping for a bfn. You'll know soon!

MQ, my husband would be the same way. He's so cautious that he would probably need to see a bloodtest and ultrasound pic to believe it. You are going to be in good company in the just barely pregnant thread.

How do I know that I most likely ovulated though?? I didn't have any fertile CM that I know of this cycle and no positive Wondfo OPKs either, but I wasn't temping so who knows. Thank you, hopefully I do get a BFP quickly and the same goes for you as well!!

Missy, I think you said your cycle was approximately 30-some days and it is your first month off BC, right? The reason I think you most likely ovulated is because that is what typically triggers your AF. Obviously, you can still get AF if you have an annovulatory cycle, but it seems to me that your body is starting to regulate. I have been off BC for 4 months, and this most recent cycle was the first time I noticed EWCM. Not everybody gets it, especially just after getting off BC. OPKs are also not always reliable depending on how long your surge is and the time of day you take them and other factors. I think you should feel encouraged that you got AF and hopefully next cyle will give you more clarity.

I see what you mean. Oh I am glad it came believe me!!! My cycle was 34 days, so not extremely long. Once I got to 30 I was like

Missy, really happy for you! CD1 finally! Are you going to temp this time around? I tested today because I was 10 DPO according to Fertility Friend and had symptoms.

MP - thinking of you... sending you some baby dust and hoping for some good news for you. I was feeling early onset AF for a few days, but that wasn't my problem...

AMC - Funny but ironic joke, for sure!

Still hasn't completely sunk in yet for me that I got a BFP. I have been a bit nauseous all day, and I am not sure if it is from excitement or from what's going on inside! Hubs is still a skeptic, even though I offered that *HE* could POAS too as a test for accuracy. He says he wants to see the digi or a doctor's note. I did buy a digi today and I am going to save it for tomorrow for him to see. Hoping for a sticky little bean, it's still so early!

I took two more tests tonight at 10:30. Pic included!

AFM ~ I guess I'm in the TWW? I can't do a DPO count as I'm not entirely sure when it happened. Usually I have O pain but not this month. AF is due in 10 - 12 days. Lets see how crazy I get this time around.

Hello to anyone I may have missed!

AFM, I am on CD2. Tomorrow, I call the office and schedule my HSG and I do my first round of bloodwork (day3). Then I start Clomid days 5-9 for the Clomid challenge. Then more bloodwork on day 10. Day 11 I have an appt with my RE to discuss all of the test results. My DH is stuck being out of town again for that appt and he feels terribly but I can handle it. It'll be fine. If all testing comes back with no red flags, I am going to have my RE do an u/s on our Day 11 appt to see how many follicles look like they will release eggs from being under the influence of Clomid. If there are more than two we will not try this month. Then my DH and I will either go forward with IVF or try one more time naturally in my August cycle. ay ay ay.... why can't we just be normal? It takes all the fun out of it.

Lizzy, I'm glad your new RE is really listening to you. I hope these tests can shed some light on what's going on. Bummer your DH will be out of town for hte appt, but it sounds like you've got a really good head on your shoulders about this. Good for you. Hope your 4th was great too.

Missy your DH sounds like my DH, kinda clueless on what needs to happen. I pretty much chucked all the romance and said, "We need ot have a lot of sex for the next few weeks." Let's just say subtle hints weren't getting through.
