Today I had to trim my plumeria tree. Got sap all over me (thats the gross part) but, lots of fantastic cuttings from this tree! I needed to prune back so it would bush up and not be so spindly. My neighbor did take a few because down here you can stick them in the ground and they'll root fine. the flowers are pink with an orangy-yellow center.
Oh, I love this color! Gorgeous!
Yesterday I spied some husks on the ground, meaning that the flower spring some fruit. Low and behold I found 2. There could be more, but at least I have 2. Last year I had 1 and I didn't find it until the fruit had dried up on the tree. In 2018-2019 we had pretty terrible drought that even the mango tree was unhappy. Last year was great, lots of rain (but also lots of hurricanes!) this year may well mirror last year for storms but, the trees are exceptionally happy.
