My latest CS purchase and first paraiba. It’s set In 18k gold and I love that the band has a bit of width and weight to it. Sorry for the awful picture — I’ll get a finger shot later.

Mozambique stone
! It was a anniversary surprise from my husband. We looked through an auction catalogue and saw it. I told him: wow, look, this is a so called Paraiba. He said - Oh wow! That is a beautiful stone! I said: ha ha, yep, that would be quite an upgrade, but not really an everyday ring... I then forgot about it. We went for a nice dinner some time later and he hands out a small parcel to me... I almost fainted. It‘s a 6. something carat, custom made ring and preloved. The cut is called star cut. The stone is from Mozambique and bears copper. It‘s colour mystifies me. Almost aquamarine at daylight it turns shiny blue green when night falls.
