My ring is officially IN PROCESS! With a ship date of July 3! :dance: It's a right hand ring, but, I am a sucker for a solitaire, so it's going in the Whiteflash classic 6 prong setting in platinum.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little nervous about the color, but I have seen other K stones in person, and I'm fine with them. (Apparently, I am blind as a bat when it comes to tint.) And I LOVE my J BGD pendant and studs so much.

I can't wait to get it on my finger! Thank y'all for waiting with me! :love:

This custom thing is a roller-coaster!! Didn't hear anything from my jeweller on Friday, even had a wee blub in the car on the way home from work and spent today felling a little down thinking I'd now have to wait 6 weeks for him to get back from his holiday. But then tonight he txt me saying he was almost done and I'll have it at the latest on Tuesday!! Emotional doesn't describe the half of it.

How do you all cope with custom makes??? My heart has been thumping for a week now and yesterday I had to focus hard not to lose the plot!

OMG that ring is amazing! Art Deco is my absolute favorite era/style. You are never going to stop looking at your hand when you are wearing that baby! (I wouldn't!)
 
I received the video of my diamond from CBI/HPD! Of course this makes waiting even more difficult.


I still haven't finalized the setting design. I'll feel so much better when it is signed off on and in production.

The seller doesn’t take returns but I wouldn’t send her back anyway. She is definitely a bitty stacking ring. The engraving goes all the way along the bottom with a date so sizing it will be a challenge and will separate the date. I’ll send it to David. The diamond is so sweet. I’m naming her Julia in honor of her former owner..:love:

My 1.76ct. CBI will be set into Sholdt's R685, part of their 1935 collection. The ring was designed by Sholdt back in 1935, and the setting was tucked away in their safe until only recently.

I wanted something low and comfortable with no knife edge. Melissa found this setting for me on their Instagram page.

Here’s a couple of still shots from Sholdt’s video on instagram. This is not my ring, it’s just to show the setting.

I am beyond happy and so so excited to be sharing this with you all as I've really enjoyed the process and it has just exceeded my expectations.

I will start a thread tomorrow as it's night and my bathroom had to serve as a light box lol.
