After gaining some clarity from the ORTRTA thread, this should be on it's way to me today.
I'm trying to get some work done but I am beyond distracted!!!!! I hope I love her in person as much as I love the photos!
I’m on a ban until Christmas too because I went nuts at the beginning of this year! I bought 3.04ctw studs from Blue Nile, a 3/4 eternity from Brian Gavin, a new custom setting for my engagement diamond and a bunch of preowned bands on eBay! I’m already looking for things to get in January!
It’s soooo pretty! I love to stack so I’m loving all your bands..It’s here!!!! DK did a GREAT job and it’s exactly how I’d hoped it would be
So the differences between mine and the Cartier ring are:
- We changed the width and height to be exactly the same as the rose band I’d bought previously from him. Mine is 4mm wide by 2.16mm high
- We did 16 flowers instead of 15
- We used single cut stones (still G/VS quality) instead of MRB’s
- I had him add a brushed finish
After admiring it for a while I of course had to see what stacking possibilities now looked like!

The necklace conversion in particular makes me happy.
The jeweller was really impressed with my tiny single cuts at how clean and white they were - he was adamant you don’t see stones like that anymore. I, thinking of what we see on PS vs what’s in the stores here in NZ, could only agree. Wait til I take the teeny French cuts in I got out of an eternity band. That’ll blow his mind!
It seems to be my year of projects. I have another week or so until my BGD earrings are done, and in the meantime I decided to replace the diamond solitaire pendant I “lost” when I made it in to a more substantial piece. I had thought I’d be able to wear the new one every day but it proved to be too much, and I really miss a daily diamond around my neck. 
This bangle coming from Caysie - should receive on Monday! Set with a rose cut pear and round rose cuts! Set in 14k white gold. I can't remember full specs as I ordered a few months back.

I know it’s no where near as big as most of the diamond rings here on PriceScope but I know I always have the option to upgrade.

because of the angle of the knife edge. The Elegant setting is half round and so comfortable. It’s also a wee bit thicker and I love that.

My ACA diamond ring is here and it’s awesome!!
I love the Elegant platinum setting. I wasn’t overly keen on the Tiffany setting as it looked dark
The ACA diamond DOES sparkle more and I see that even without comparing them side by side. The Tiffany diamond wasn’t a dud by any means but I do definitely see a difference. As I was driving I noticed the flashes out of the corner of my eye.
