OMG! Can someone please explain how I am 19 already! Um, I feel like it was just yesterday I was at like sixty something. The time draws nearer. FF keeps saying things about doing it this summer/fall, but technically he has until Jan 2008, although he knows I''d be highly impatient by that time. Shoot, I''m highly impatient now! But anyways, if I could um...not break the top ten that''d be great!
 
Not sure if someone has already said this, but Candlelite80 got engaged 4/20/07 and has set a wedding date for July 5, 2008! She''s on the BIW list now.
 
Add me too....hopefully it won''t be another 3 years in waiting! lol

HA! I just read this just now....no I am not engaged yet....LOL...someday...like a decade from now...haha...j/k....
This is a ring I bought after my last boyfriend screwed me over...my ''i-don''t-need-a-man-to-buy-me-diamonds...ring....although I am looking for a new setting...im open for suggestions...I have met a wonderful man now that I connect with on so many levels and its been great so far. He''s the one...I always thought that when people talked about how they just ''knew'' they were full of crap, now I know that its not the case.

Tell me about it! I thought being 9 was bad...even just two lower makes me feel like I''ve been here forever! But since we''re finally looking to buy now, maybe I''ll exit the list at lucky number 7.
 
I literally did almost have a heart attack just now!!! I was only at #18 before, but #13 just seems so much more ominous!! When I started, I was #86 or something back in September... oh boy... breathe, breathe... and, if I remember right, several people above me think their day is coming soon! I''m gonna be #1 before too long... ayiyiyiyi

Just FYI: Blueroses hasn''t posted since 11/7/06, which means it''s been 6 1/2 months... not that I want her taken off the list, we love her and miss her!!! but, we all agreed on a 6 month rule, so maybe next time there''s an update, it will be time for her name to come down???

Hey all! I have been lurking around here for a few weeks - ever since my boyfriend told me that I needed to start picking out a ring - and I must say, this is the greatest place. I love to look at everything in these forums.

And I need to be added to "the list," please.

May I ask how the list is compiled? With all of these people talking about the numbers that they are moving up, I just am wondering. Is it by date of being put on the list, by length of relationship, or by some other measure?

Welcome to PS Stephanie! The list works like this: When a girl is added she goes to the bottom of the list. As girls ahead of her get engaged, they get taken off, and she moves up in rank. That''s it! Hope your wait is short and sweet!
 
Hey, not sure if you noticed, but emeraldlover posted in the "Active LIW's" thread. She was gone on vacation and didn't see the thread until a few days ago. She was after *bee on the list, so that should bump quite a few people down one more spot... I'm sure it will make them happy!
