Also, any idea on pricing. Before I commit to buy I want to make sure it's a good deal. I was originally quoted at 10,500.

Hi BG and welcome!

This is a tricky one, an image such as Idealscope is really needed for this diamond if you can get one, is this diamond for sale through an online vendor or store jeweller? My concern is that this stone has what we call steep/deep angles, in some cases depending on other factors we can't predict without an image, light leakage could be a possibility, this you don't want. Can you give us a bit more info about the diamond, if you have seen it in person, where it's for sale and so on please? Also if you could post the diameter measurements too if you wouldn't mind, that would be helpful, it's also a tad deeper than I prefer. Do you have any others in mind and is your preference for VS clarity? No problem if so but you could broaden the options for the budget if you would consider verified eye clean SI clarity grades, but as above, that's a personal preference.

6.76 - 6.77 x 4.22 mm are the diamond measurements. It is for sale at Jared Jewelers which I wasn't crazy about to start.

Is this something I can request of Jared is an idealscope?

Hi OP, can't answer your question about Jared's imaging benefits, but your selection has an hca score of 4.0. I did a quick search for H&A AGS 0 and GIA XXX for G/VS2 in your size range and there are a few for you to sift through, all with hca scores of under 2. So, I would not pursue the Jared stone if I were you as you can get a much better stone for a similar amount from Whiteflash, James Allen, High Performance Diamonds (CBI), Solomon Brothers, etc. Many of those vendors have great post purchase benefits, like lifetime upgrades. Did you want some suggested stones?

Agreed, some images (Ideal-Scope and ASET) would help. It's nudging steep/deep in the crown and pavilion angles.
