It started with this pearl and adding a custom bosson bale and matching earrings.

Then a trip to Pearl Paradise for a redo plus addition. I am one very, very happy girl.

Your white metallic and blossoms look so gorgeous and summery!

Also the baroque akoya tin cup, which looks metallic too!

Gorgeous! You have a great sense of style!

I love the redo and you have a beautiful collection!

They look just beautiful ! How big are the earrings .. they look really large! I love those settings!

That is one STUNNING necklace!

Wow! Just, wow! You look great in those pieces. Simple elegant showstoppers. Thank you once more for showing us how its done.

Happy Birthday again, 4Ranch Girl!

Very nice! Was it hard to match your necklace?

Was that offer in an email or on FB? I don't see it anywhere.
EDIT: I see it on the Blog from 2013.

The earring pearls are 12.5 and 12.7 mm wide and 16+mm long. The pendent is 12.5mm wide and either 14 or 15 mm long

The easy answer is yes and no. I have had it for several years and just wore it on a chain. It never occurred to me to do what I did until I saw the pp blog post about the new Hong Kong pearl finds. I took it with me to see if it might work. At the time there was 15 strands to look through and find a match. Both the akoyas and the freshwater drops are exceptional pearls. I have learned the hard way not to buy anything less than that. I have a few more beauties that will trickle in over the next month or so.

Wise words. I am waiting for the right pearls to come along also, instead of rushing. Otherwise, they will not get worn.

4RanchGirl, which pearls are your favorites? As a new pearl collector, I would be interested to know how your tastes have developed.

So stunning!!!

You are asking me an unanswerable question. That's like asking which of your children you love the most. Go to the pp blog under Pearl friends and read my story. There's several stories about how, when and where I have collected what I have. You will also see another of my pearl bffs who posts here as well interviewed.

That necklace looks great on you, 4RG! I think I need to see it in person before I decide what to do with my strand.

Okay that sounds like a good plan. Let me know when and where works for you. I should have the golden strand from Sarah today. And the others in a couple of weeks.

4ranchgirl, Tell DS he did a great job with that photo. Can't wait to see more of the new items as they trickle in. :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl:

I can only think of one word...stunning!
Happy birthday and wear it in the very best of health!

4ranchgirl....Your tin cup necklace and pendant are a beautiful combination. I love the blossom bale. Could you tell me the length of your necklace (sorry if you mentioned it earlier and I missed it)?

Thanks for the reference. I had a similar start with colored stones, and I think that's why I'm emotionally attached to this hobby.

Ohhhh wow wow wow, 4RG that is one exquisite set!! So beautiful, thanks for sharing!

I can't wait to receive my own strand of baroque akoyas...

Hi Krissy I just measured it and the strand is 25 inches long.

HI:

Love it. :appl:

Fresh. Elegant.

cheers--Sharon

Thanks for the length info 4RanchGirl! That length looks so nice on you with that style top. I think most of the necklaces I wear are the standard 16-18" so this is giving me food for thought for the future!

Another of my re dos. The third time is a charm. Very happy with it now.

Love my little octopus pared with gold metallic pearls rather than a chain.
