Thoughts on these asschers (strmrdr/Karl K)?

Cool. I will get them to fix it. I wonder if I can just drop it off rather than mail it? That would save me 30 bucks and a lot of worry.

I like this stone because you can see the patterns from a distance. I find that with a lot of 1 carat-ish asschers, it is hard to appreciate them without being really close. The patterns on this one pop at a distance.

Thanks for the replies. I am probably worrying about this whole thing too much and picking over it too much in my mind, but I am an over-educated perfectionist. It''s what I do.

Have you considered a halo type setting? It would look bigger, it would hide the pavilion, and the style really suits asschers. Adds a little sparkle.

Yes, I have considered a halo. I think that it is too much for my girlfriend-- I ran it by her and I don''t think she liked the idea. If I could find one with a smaller diameter and no pave on the actual band it might work though.

I don''t know what''s going to happen with this whole thing. That one inclusion really bothers me. It is really shiny. I definitely want to get this right, although I am ready for this whole thing to be over. It is exhausting. I''ll give it a rest for a few days then see what I think. I have plenty of time to sort this out.
