Oops I entered the wrong crown value in my cut calculator. I had 34.5 and yours is 34. Please ignore that part of my post. Sorry.
The older 2009 proportions is reflecting exactly "excellent" but when you go out in each direction to account for actual values and precision faceting you can see there is still a chance it lands in ideal.
Here's the update version with the correct crown angle.

Sledge, can you check my stone’s stats in your cut calculator? Table 57, CA 35.5, PA 40.8.
Also if the stone’s star is 55, lgf 75, and girdle of 3.5%, can you use still use the new cut guidelines? Or it’s only applicable to stones with star of 50, lgf of 80, and girdle of 3.5%?
thanks in advance
See below.
Just a heads up, I would caution you that will be a tricky combination. Mainly based upon the fact I've seen quite a few 35/40.8 combo's that look good according to proportion charts, etc but something goes awry in the faceting process sometimes. It seems to be a mixed bag rather you get a good or bad ASET with that combo.
Going up another 0.5 degree in steepness on the crown doesn't help. For a 35.5 crown, I'd prefer to see a 40.6 pavilion. But you already own the stone. Rather than taking "guesses" the best way to gain yourself some assurance would be to buy an ASET scope and see if the stone has any leakage or not.
This calculator is based on the 2009 charts, which don't indicate any LGF, star or girdle conditions. The newer cut guidelines only listed the charts for 50 stars, 80 LGF's and 3.5 girdle thickness.
When I get time I will update my calculator to include the new guidelines. Maybe make a version where you can see old and new.

I know I'm a total nerd.....
Very pretty. Do you mind sharing how you were able to post a video? It only allows me to post pictures.
Im feeling so annoyed! My ring arrived back at Blue Nile Toronto on Wednesday Feb 5th. ... (they sent the label on Monday, and I mailed it that day, but missed cut off, so it didnt go out till Tuesday at 5pm)...
So they have had my ring, that just needed a little polish under the basket and tapers.... for a week now.... the ship out day orignally said Feb 11th.... then 12th.... then 13th..... now 14th!!!! Get real!!!
I spoke with customer service and they were so sorry for how the ring was sent to me, and the "repair" was going to be expedited... how is that expedited!
Sorry, just venting... I only had my ring for 4 days I believe... I just want it back!

My ER is not ideal but any means, but is this software something you have to buy? I’d like to see how off mine is. Lol
So sorry to hear this. I know you are super excited to have your new bling. As @OoohShiny pointed out, I am sure they are busy with the V-day around the corner.
Still, it's no excuse to keep making promises, that they keep breaking. All this does is frustrate a customer and make them feel undervalued. I would escalate the issue to a manager.
Keep the faith. I know I've read lots of complaints similar to this one about JA, but it seemed they did finally make it right in the end.
Are you referring to my cut calculator? That is just a custom thing I designed. I don't have a problem sharing, but was asked by the mods not to do so. However, if you want to share your proportions with me then I can run something for you.
Remember, proportions have rounding & averaging involved. They give us a good idea of what to expect but there can be variance.
For $50, you can buy an ASET scope and confirm light performance.
