Packrat, that is gorgeous!!! Have you been holding out on us my dear? :D

Thanks guys! Yeah..I've had the M's for about three months, although just got the ring last Thursday. It's been an up in the air project of uncertainty, trying to figure out what I want to do so..kinda sucked all the fun out of it.

Bouldergal, vc10um, and packrat: All of your rings are lovely!! Yay for three stones!

Thanks guys! I do have more pics, comparing the center to the five stone (which I don't have anymore), and then all three loose and more since they've been set. I'll start a thread.

can't wait!!

Laila, your reset is lovely! So are all the other 3-stones in this thread!

My engagment ring is a 0.91ct center stone with ~0.12ct calla cut sidestones.

I am still in love with it almost 2 years after getting engaged, and not an ounce of DSS. 8)

Your ring is SO pretty vc10um!

Paxonator, you have absolutely BEAUTIFUL ring! Well done, your girl will be thrilled. Please, come back with hand shots!
Again, very beautiful ring :appl:

Thanks! Diamonds turned out to be more difficult to photograph than I thought!

Thanks vc10um! Your ring looks great on your finger!

First time posting! Hello all. Finally had my three family diamonds reset; center is .40, VVS1. Everyone's diamonds are simply fabulous that I had to finally create an account and participate. Love the wealth of knowledge here!

Ooooh! I like that ratio.... and with the small stones on the side! Very nice. I wonder how that would look with a colored stone?

It looks phenomenal!!! So glad it turned out so well!!

I was with some girlfriends the other night and thought I'd test my camera out. I wasn't intending to post any pics here, but actually got half clear shot (restaurant was dim and my phone isn't great so I had to use a flash) so I thought I'd post in case people are looking for setting ideas.

My friend's ring (pictured next to mine) is a little different from other three stone rings I've seen because the stones are all the same size. She had triplets and this ring is in honor of them.

I know nothing about the stats of the diamonds except they appear icy white (knowing her husband, it had to be tops, stat-wise). they seem to be about .7 each and the setting is Neil Lane I believe. 6 perfect claw prongs holding each diamond, diamonds in the profile and on the shank. The ring is impeccably made.

Sorry the pics couldn't be better!

Wow, I really like her ring! It's so unique and eye catching!

Yeah, it's perfection. I really should go over to her place with a proper camera to take pics of her collection - she knows someone who works for Neil Lane, so they make house calls over to them.

This ring is so well made. IRL obviously it's even more delicate looking than in this horrid macro shot. ::) I'm finding out more and more that I like 3 stones with at least 6 prongs (Yssie's old one had 6 on the center, and 3 on the sides, and that look is really lovely as well). It just keeps the round shape. The thing is with a lot of prongs, it has to do be done well in order to not look bulky (or scary!)

Of course, my non jewelry loving (or should I say "savvy" since all of them do like jewelry) friends said "Oh, they look exactly the same!" Uh, no. But of course, only PSers would care about the differences: graduated stones vs the same; modern vs old cut; engraved vs not; diamonds in head vs not; and the list goes on and on. Really, could these two 3 stone rings be any more different?

But there are three stones each, so they MUST be the same, right?
