Three stone ring...does this setting look familiar?

Hi -

I''m new to the forum and looking for some advice on a well-made 3 stone ring.

I tried on this ring in a jewelry store and they said it was a standard, manufactured ring.

Does anyone recognize this ring/know who makes it?

If so, do you recommend the manufacturer?

Are there any stand-out manufacturers you would recommend that make something similar?

If there any addition detail on the ring that we can't see? If not, I'm pretty sure quite a few of the board jewelers could pull it off.

Sure, that won''t be hard to find. WhiteFlash sells a similar one, but they apparently only sell it with the purchase of their diamonds.

Yes! That whiteflash link appears to be the exact ring.

I''m looking for a manufactured/standard ring as a way to same some money.

Is there any way to find out where whiteflash got this from?

Since I already have the stones, it seems like I couldn''t purchase from whiteflash...


I have checked the following wholesalers to try and locate it without much success:

ingwer, stuller

There are no on-line catalogs for:

A L A, or Overnight

Are there any other wholesaler catalogs I should be looking at?

You might want to contact Wink... I'm sure he has something similar and he doesn't require that you purchase diamonds from him...

Here''s what I have been told so far about this ring:

it would be $300 for it from the manufacturer, but the manufacturer doesn''t make it to fit my stone sizes: 1 carat center, 2 0.50 sides. The jewelry store said that it only comes manufactured with a 2 carat center and 2 .50 sides.

they offered to make it for $700 (I live in San Francisco so the Jewelry Mart has fairly competitive pricing) in 14K WG.

What would be the advantage of having it custom-made? Are there any things I should watch out for?

I like the setting but for $700 (best price so far) I would think about custom - fully custom.

I would start with WF because I have bought from them happily in the past. If you build from scratch you can add little details as you want.

I just think $700 for wg is not doing you any favours. Call around - what is the harm?
