These are some of the sapphire rings I have had made for the wife over the years. The one on the far left is a 4.80ct purple sapphire with 1.02ct diamonds. Next to in the middle is a 5.20ct blue sapphire with 1.00ct diamonds, next ring (sorry about the focus) is a 4.60 ct yellow sapphire wiith 40pts of diamonds. The first two rings are in plat. They are both three stone trellis disigns. The last is in 18kt yellow gold and plat . I just asked the jeweler for an antique type design on that one.I have been "hitched" for comming up on thirty solar cycles. With my hobby, I have had lots of time to make her lots of pretties. Right now I am in the process of making her a red spinel and diamond ring for our big Thirieth.

Hee hee....

When I was really little, I wanted to marry Roy Rogers. In my early teens I wanted to marry James Garner. In college I thought a doctor would be nice...

If I were looking today, I''d want to marry YOU!

HI:

A color for each in her wardrobe--now that''s a man with sense, and a woman with style! Beautiful rings.

cheers--Sharon

Cool! Many more to come, of course. Only a bit and you will have a whole rainbow sittin'' on that log!

Very impressive CMW, particularly the size and quality of those sapphires. I envy both your collection and your photography skills. You have more than a decade on me in the jewelry design/marriage department, but here are some of mine I posted in another thread. I had the following rings made up (the other rings in the photo are store bought): L-2-R and top-2-bottom:

Little finger:
3.5ct (approx.) blue zircon (.38tdw)
1.5ct blue sapphire (.60tdw)

Ring finger:
1.6ct tsavorite (.06 greenish yellow tdw)
6.21ct mandarin garnet (1.33tdw)
1.27ct ruby (.92tdw)
2.1ct tanzanite (approx. .25tdw) (poor color representation)

Forefinger:
6ct (approx.) ametrine

Enjoy, and thanks for sticking around and posting more of your collection.

G.K. Those are all very beautiful stones and rings. You have such a varity of color there. I really like(love) that spessarite. The color is so vivid. Spessarite is one of my all time favorites. I have a little collection of them myself. I will post pictures in the near future. Thanks for sharing the pic. You seem to have a love of colored stones much as I do. Always glad to meet fellow gem lover. Doug

Oh that one in the middle....YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!
