When people spend their hard earned money on a ring, it is prudent to show care and concern for any and all questions they may ask you and make the time. Surely you can understand this with so many fakes being sold online these days.
There are multiple ways to do this that ensures buyer's protection. Also, don't buy if you're not comfortable.
I have not listed it yet. When I do, I will include multiple pictures. I will answer what I think are reasonable questions. If the process becomes time consuming, I will gladly keep the ring and cancel my listing.

I'm not, and I won't. Good luck to you for a quick sale!

Yep, count me out too - and probably the rest of the PS community. I say FB or ebay are your best bets.

I wouldn't want to have to deal with a seller like this on ebay, either.

I wouldn't want to deal with a seller like this anywhere. My interest was originally piqued and quickly went away the more I read. Good luck on your sale!

This thread makes me reconsider whether I believe a ring can carry bad energy from previous wearers - divorce, death etc.

OP - my suggestion would be to have the thread deleted by mods, and start over with your listing without a pall hanging over it.

Unless I miss my guess, a lot of this was sheer miscommunication - you wanted one kind of advice and got another (and perhaps interpreted people's well-meant & practical suggestions as attempts to bargain you down). FWIW, it tends to be harder to sell pieces secondhand as an individual: Tiffany's might not have to go to the effort of papering their stones, but buying directly from Tiffany's also come with some protections/privileges. When people buy from previous owners, they tend to either expect a hell of a discount, or some of the same assurances they might get from a more professional transaction ... like the outside assurance of a certificate. Ironically, people were trying to help you get more of your money back with that suggestion.

Good luck with your sale.

I changed my mind and decided to keep the ring. This ring is not for sale. :) :) :)

What a strange thread! Why would a potential seller be so ornery with potential buyers...?

I just opened up this thread for the heck of it, and I agree completely bsomlo. You could almost see the OP getting more and more irritated with each comment.

Amusing, actually.
