Excellent selection today Missy. I laughed so hard but this was my favorite.
Aw thank you @mellowyellowgirl, I always hope the memes I share will make others laugh and I appreciate the feedback.
Is avocado toast a thing with you guys and house prices too?
I thought it was only an Aussie Millennials thing (pre Covid19 we had very high house prices).
Take what I say with a grain of salt as I am a baby boomer who has (sadly) never had avocado toast. Not because I am against it in principle rather because I am gluten intolerant. In fact, I am very for avocado toast as I love avocados and I used to love bread. But I digress (wish I could blame quarantine brain but no I tend to go off on tangents and my dh calls it missy brain ). Back to the question.
Homes are super expensive in certain cities in the USA with NYC and LA and Silicone Valley to name a few. So millennials were having trouble purchasing homes especially if they weren't willing to compromise and get starter homes and homes they consider well below what they want.
Of course post Covid who knows what will happen. My concern is we will be in a great depression or at the very least a bad recession. Hoping for the best and taking it one day at a time.
