I was attending the funeral of a relative many, many years ago. My cousin was there as was his grandmother, who was pretty much deaf and had one of those horrible old hearing aids that squealshed and squealed loudly. She was in her nineties and at the exit after the service she stopped to "talk" to the minister.
She was very upset, and being deaf, she spoke quite loudly. "It is way past my turn. I have prayed to die and He is not listening. YOU must pray to Him too. Tell Him I am tired of waiting and I am not going to take it much longer. My husband is dead. All my children are dead. IT IS MY TURN! You tell Him that!"
