The luster totally blew me away in person! And how blue! I knew that Andrew said they were super blue but I feel like the handful of other blues I've seen in real life (not from him, to be clear!) have been a bit disappointing. Not these! My photos aren't overselling it at all.

Thank you, I love it too! Super lustrous, orient-y (is that a word? lol), smooth pearls are just a completely different beast from the ones I've seen in normal life. Same thing as beautifully-cut diamonds versus duds, I think.

A ring is such a good way to really enjoy pearls. And bracelets. I also love long strands to play with. I love pearls so much. I plan to expand my collection soon.

I'm not generally much of a pearls person, but this is fantastic on so many levels! I love the colors and luster, the business in the front/party in the back design, the fact that it's substantial but not at all overpowering. Just a complete home run!

Yes, absolutely! That was the first one I had seen and I loved it. I think your idea sounds lovely -- subtle but still noticeable!

Right now I have a short strand of inexpensive freshwaters that I received as a gift, which was very thoughtful, but the luster is poor so that’s sad. I’d like to replace it with some higher quality freshwaters in a champagne or pink tonal range. I’d also like drop earrings, a bracelet, and I’d like to make a drop pendant with a colored gemstone. Maybe with baroque or flame pearl. Long term goals!

wear the gift as your everyday necklace, while you shop for the new wants
most people out there dont know what they are looking at with pearls so enjoy them
if its raining i like to wear pearls
i am hard on bracelets so i would go for less expensive pearls for a bracelet if you are rough with your hands
you can do lots of window shopping around these here parts
have you looked at pearl paradise or do you want more higher end ?

I have a super sad freshwater strand too, I should take photos next to some of these pearls. I'm sure you know this but several PS people have used Wen Pearls for better-than-they-should-be-for-the-price pearls. I love the sound of your list!
