Top 5 jewelry staples?

1. Wedding set (1,5ct solitaire and 7 stone 1,5ct band)
2. Right hand ring (currently a 5 stone band, to be reset as a 7 band )
3. Rolex Watch
4. Love bracelet
5. Tennis necklace
But I also need:
6. Tennis bracelet
7. Diamond studs and their halos
8. Diamond drop earrings

I need 8 items!!!!

Just one great diamond in one great tension setting ring.
Don't need 5, don't even need 2.

I guess I'm a cheap date.

I feel like I have answered this in the past, but now that I have some VCA and Temple St. Clair, I don't think I could narrow it down to 5. But if I had to, I guess it would be all diamond staple pieces, AVR e-ring and a band, WF diamond studs, diamond pendant (I guess it might have to be the halo one with my mother's diamond in it even though I never wear it! Otherwise maybe my Tiffany diamond cross.). Ughhhhh, not sure about 4 and 5. That would be tough to narrow down.

Now your talking !
We need a thread of the 5 pieces we would leave behind (as painfully as that would be)

Done

The answer to this question sure does change over time. My answer is quite different from five years ago, or even a year ago.
1. my 3 stone ering and plain band
2. pave sweet alhambra earrings
3. single row diamond perlee bangle
4. onyx and WG 5 motif
5. chalcedony and WG 5 motif

Wedding set, stud earrings, tennis bracelet, solitaire necklace, diamond hoops

Im gonna have another crack at this seeing as on its twin thread i sacrificed all my diamond studs

Well, I'd want to be able to have one coordinated jewelry 'outfit'. I mean, unless I'm going to let the holes in my ears grow over (I'm not - under ANY circumstances) - that means I *have* to make one of these items a pair of earrings. I also can't live without a bangle. So it all coordinated, I'd choose just one metal - in my case - yellow gold.

So. It starts to sort itself out....
1. My wedding set
2. My gold hoops with diamond stud for my outer hole
3. My solid gold bangle
4. My wedding pendant necklace
5. My white SS studs so I can have both hoops and studs to mix it up.

20220530_165727.jpg

But - just for giggles - let's assume I can take 1, 2 or 3 more pieces. They would be - in order....

1. Joy - my enamel bracelet
2. My Dixon pendant
3. My turquoise drops, which I wear with Joy.

20220530_165833.jpg

And I would hunt down the person who made this rule, and arm wrestle then until they let me bring those last 3 pieces. While the first 5 are my 'must haves', the last 3 are almost as essential. I need color.

1. Wedding set
2. Diamond studs (on my wishlist)
3. Tennis bracelet (on my wishlist)
4. Tennis necklace (on my wishlist)
5. Everyday never-take-off gold necklace (on my wishlist)

Guess I better get crackin'!!!

Well if its a wishlist ....
And a PS level wishlist
i can defiantly do that :kiss2: :lol-2:

My family 'wedding set' (even though they fit on differnt fingere ;)2 )

A really beautiful approved by @yssie pearl necklace

a full set of pearl studs (so 2 more pair to match Andrew's ones)

Still my silver cuff because i wear it all the time

Oh im up to 5 already
This is still too hard
I'd go with a right hand ring of some sort - my green saphire - reset with a PS quality green saphire

I knew your's would be trully beautiful

This would be very hard. I know what I wear more often but one band that I do wear isn’t expensive as others…so I can’t do it..This is VERY hard! I have two engagement sets so that counts as two, right?

1. “Winter“ in her soon to be new setting with Tiffany channel set baguette platinum band. (Set)

2. “Emmy” and thinner platinum baguette band (set)

3. 3.01 diamond studs

4. This is too hard to pick..Ugh....”Bee” Diamond cushion in hinged bangle

5. Tiffany .73 diamond solitaire pendant in platinum. She’s a fireball for a little diamond..:kiss2:

I‘m so stressed about this..It’s so funny!

Done

why don't we combine this into one thread and say the 5 we would keep and the 5 we would leave behind all in one with photos? I'm still working on both of mine but finding both difficult.

No judgement
But i don't see many inherited pieces on here

Love this thread!!! Mine are mostly sentimental... I suppose the stud earrings are the most "functional" of all of them. I feel naked without anything sparkly in my lobes!

1. Sparkly stud earrings — 1-2 tcw OECs or MRBs whatever floats your boat, white gold, diamonds preferred, of course, but moissanite is just fine too (Google photo)

2. Not-technically-my-ER-or-wedding-set (yet, not married... yet?! fingers crossed) but a ring from my long-term boyfriend... *pink centre sapphire currently being replaced, sigh

3. Mom & daughter ring from my mom — baby OEC/OMC diamonds in 18k RG, "Maman" & "Fille" engraved inside

4. Red spinel fleur de lys pendant on a plain YG gold chain from my dad

5. Tennis bracelet — I guess diamonds (or moissanite if you're young and broke like me haha) are classic, so I'd go with those... but I would love a ruby and pink sapphire/spinel tennis bracelet too... *photo is just CZ from one of my old threads

In honour of jubilee weekend

And God forbid but we know castles have fires
And a girl can dream

And no growling at me
This took a considerable amount of time !
And a pile of my own drool to mop up

What's the story behind the pink saphire being replaced ?
