princesss, that''s a gorgeous cake!
If I had unlimited money, we would still get married in Las Vegas. I would make my FMIL happy, and we''d get married at the Bellagio. We would pay for rooms for all the people we want to have be there, and there wouldn''t be any of this icky guest list cutting. (So probably ~ 120-150 people, and please don''t point out that the chapel doesn''t fit that many. This is fantasy.)
The night before the wedding, the first official wedding event would take place: we would all (all 120 of us) go to see Cirque du Soleil''s Love. (We''ll probably try to do this anyway, but in fantasy land we''d pay for everyone''s ticket, and I wouldn''t have to feel guilty about it.)
I would probably end up spending a lot of money on a dress, since the fantasy dresses I love tend to be by Amy Michelson, Reem Acra or Monique Lhuillier. Not cheap, but it wouldn''t matter. And I''d have gorgeous shoes. I''d buy a beautiful cocktail dress for my best friend, and we''d go shoe shopping together for her shoes.
For the wedding, everyone would sing 2 verses of "All Creatures of our God and King", and the accompaniment would be a recording of my mother playing the organ. (this will probably happen, only in fantasyland everyone thinks it''s great.
) And I would hire Renee Fleming to come and sing the Mozart Alleluia.
Somehow we would manage to take a photograph of everyone who came to the wedding, all arranged on an amazing terrace or set of stairs, even though it would take forever. And then we''d have a fabulous dinner in one of their restaurants - not reception-y, just amazing dinner-y. And then we''d party. I mean, it is Vegas, after all.
