Traveling to Italy, staying in Rome... info?

@PreRaphaelite just back back and Ostia Antica is a really nice archeological site and it’s huge. IMHO it doesn’t rival that of Pompeii or Herculaneum though. Those places have more mosaics and frescos and are much more preserved (being buried in volcanic mud and ash will do that though lol). It’s very quiet though which is nice. I personally wouldn’t travel from Rome to see it specifically but we were in staying close by to be close to the airport so it was worthwhile for us. And of course I found cats to photograph!
