I've gone back and forth on this one a couple times and figured I'd poll for fun since I'm wavering again (i am the most "waverly" bride, by the way haha)
I am getting married Nov. 24th, 2007 and since it's after Turkey day and cold out, the wedding planners said I could really do either a fall or winter theme. I LOVE both and at first wanted winter, then switched to fall, and am now thinking about winter again...

Do I want to have a fall wedding with reds, oranges and yellows, or a winter wedding with silvery blues, white and deep red, and glittery type snowflakes etc is sort of what it comes down to. I feel like I could do so much more decorating for winter than fall, but I love rich fall colors. They could do an xmas tree as well for oru wedding...The BM dresses are black, so that doesnt really affect too much with them, although I may change the ribbon color from yellow to another color if we go with winter.

Figured I'd poll all y'all and see what you guys think!

I vote winter because your dress has those clear crystal accents on it that look like snow. I think it''d be fun to carry that accent into a bunch of other elements if you so choose (the invitations, the decoration, the cake!).

I think it just depends on which colors you like better.

I voted winter because pictures infront of a tree would be amazing. You could have an ornament made with one of them.

I votes fall because I''m biaised... I love fall colours... Deep reds and oranges, golden yellows, purples and greens...

would pre-existing decorations factor in any? for instance, are you having it at a place that will have a christmas tree up? this may sway you to go towards a winter theme.

This was exactly my thought- a lot of places put up Christmas-y/winter-y decorations after Thanksgiving. So, if your place is going to have a x-mas tree up, and pointsettas and twinkle lites everywhere, you might want to know this before you make any kind of decisions...

Just my personal preference but, I would definitely go with winter!!!

Tough call. I love the rich colors of fall (I got married in late Sept and my colors were red and yellow) and I also love the icy crystalline look of winter colors...blue, silver, white...

You could honestly go either way with the timing of your wedding, but I might lean towards winter only to embody the spirit of the season and get everyone feeling it!
