Hmm, interesting! It''s a huge tsavorite, so in that respect it''s quite rare.

It''s really hard to tell from pictures...but maybe it''s a little dark and slightly more "olivy" and less bright green green than I''d personally like.

I''d sure want to see it in person before I''d commit. I noticed the seller''s return policy is "if not as described"....and that would worry me.

IF it''s gorgeous, and IF it sold for $5000...then it would be a bargain, in my opinion. I noticed that CherryPicked sold a fine unmounted 6ct tsavorite for almost $14,000!

I was thinking of bidding on some of this seller''s auctions. He has been on ebay for a number of years with 100% feedback. What I don''t like is the 15% restocking fee and the private auctions. I don''t know if I would buy a $5,000 piece unless I went to see it in PA first. I think this stone looks on the yellow side, but the size is hugh for a tsavorite.
