Wow Anchor, that is so interesting. Gosh you were just tiny things!! My boyfriend''s sister delivered her fraternal twin boys at 30 weeks and they were 3lbs 4oz and 3lbs 9oz. What is hydrocephalus? I am glad the pneumothorax left no damage.Date: 3/15/2009 12:51:39 PM

How long between births? 10 minutes; I was first.
Delivered naturally or C-section? Naturally.
Premature/On Time/Late? Early by 10 weeks (my amniotic sac ruptured). I weighed 3 pounds 1 ounce and my sister 3 pounds 3 ounces.
Fraternal/Identical? Identical. We didn''t have a test, but it''s pretty obvious. One of the doctors said we weren''t because we each had our amniotic sacs, but that doesn''t mean we''re not identical, just that the egg split earlier on.
Any extra twinformation? We both had pneumothorax, but my sister''s was more severe. Fortunately, there was no lasting damage. I had hydrocephalus caused by hemorrage in the brain and had to go into surgery at 3 months. I have CP.
Being a twin and having the relationship I do with Jaxon makes me SO interested in anything twin related. I sometimes just have a moment where I am like...this is unreal lol...I feel so blessed and lucky. I have a special place in my heart for twins and multiples..it really is something so very special!
