Hey Guys,

I wanted to get your opinions on two different settings. I would love to hear what you guys think about the design, durability, and wearing these rings in real life. Both of these rings will be custom made by a jeweler and the diamonds will be set separately. I appreciate your advance and suggestions. Also the width of the of the band will be 2mm, total carat weight is .6 - .7

My 2 cents.....These do not appeal to me for several practical reasons [all from experience]. The band is so thin that the weight of the stone would cause the ring to rotate to the "under the finger" position easily, and it will be hard to find a band to go with it unless one is already made by the manufacturer or you go custom.
Also, where the pave swirls up to the main stone it looks are though the spaces might catch long hair or loose-knit sweaters.

thanks for your response...the band in the pictures are 1.5mm and 1.6mm. Since I will be making these custom I will make the badn 2mm or even 2.2mm.

Wouldl love to hear from more people.

Unless you have a jeweler who is an expert at creating fine pave settings I think you are looking for trouble. Not everyone can
Do that type of work and because of the twisting of the stones on the band I think it would be exceptionally difficult. Is the
jeweler going to make it with CADS so that you can see what the final setting will look like? Or is it going to be hand forged?
I would expect that having either of these rings made by someone who could do it right would probably cost a lot of money.
if someone is saying they can do it inexpensively than beware.

These type settings are not 24/7 settings. They should be taken off around the house and for sleeping. Basically, wear it when
you go out and take it off when you get home. That's my 2 cents!
