Under 1ct diamonds

Earrings sound great! But, if you're thinking pendant, how about putting a bezel around her?

Of all the pendants I think I like the look where it’s “floating” on your neck. So I think they means a martini type setting? Husband doesn’t think my diamond is big enough so the bezel would fix that but would that stop it looking like it’s “floating”? You can see I’m overthinking this WAY too much

In my opinion, I'm thinking the bezel will make it look larger and show up better. Maybe a jeweler could tell you if it's possible to make little openings on each side of the top of the bezel to put a delicate chain through. Then, no need for a bail?

My .62 pear that my husband proposed with 27 years ago, I just had her reset into my dream setting ❤️

@Diamond*Dana, It looks perfect on you! I love the pear, such an elegant look.

Would look stunning but the upgrade ring is ordered & I don’t have the budget to add more diamonds to make a RHR! I’d love a matching diamond to perhaps turn them into amazing earrings (they look like they would be the perfect size!) but again, I’m not sure we could afford that either right now. So I thought a pendant would be the best way of getting the most wear out of it but I don’t seem to like the DBTY style pendants or the solitaire pendants with big bales either so I’m a bit lost.

I second the earrings suggestion for the future! That's what I did to mine. Thought of a pendant but I'm glad I got a loose stone to match and set them into earrings. I wear them daily! =)2

I’d definitely be happy with that but my husband said earrings are too easy to lose. I’ve never had diamond earrings so I think that would be such a treat!

Earrings are easy to lose unless you get the right backs. Screw back posts are very secure! I have had my studs for 7 years and never take them off. I wear them every day through everything (sleep, shower, multiple mask changes per day at my job) and haven't lost them yet!

This is an absolutely beautiful reset! :kiss2: LOVE the curved band, the set looks perfect on you. Well done @Diamond*Dana!!

This is precious!

I’d like to add Marilyn, my 0.60 ct H SI2 heart set with some paveè diamonds (of I don’t know how many carats). She has a black carbon inclusion where Marilyn had her beauty spot, thus the name :) I got her at a great price. She also has an incredible faint pink fluorescence, which I find super cool and quite romantic.

The setting is platinum and custom made based on my design.

I'm not a necklace person, but I would definitely wear this!!!

That’s awesome. When do you notice the fluorescence?

Thanks! Only if I torch it with a UV light :) The GIA cert said faint fluorescence and I was assuming blue, but nope, it is pink.

Long time lurker- first time poster but I have two new additions to the family this month to share!
She just arrived today, and I am absolute love. She’s really better than I’d hoped for!
She’s a GIA certed .82 VVS2 L OEC center, with .25 VS1 K (non certed) Transitional sides. She sits so high, it feels regal. Yellow gold, which I really thought I’d end up resetting once so got it- but I actually love the setting itself, as well.
Ring size 7 1/2, from Ruby Lane. The price felt like a steal, so I figured it wouldn’t be a winner in person, but boy was I surprised. It’s a fireball.

The Art Deco bezel is a 1/2ct H/I (non certed) OEC. Both the stone and the setting & band were from Ivy & Rose, and they did an awesome job. Really nice folks to work with, too. The set is nice and low profile, and super comfortable. A gift from my amazing hubby for our 17 year anniversary on Aug 20th. (The guy is the true gem, I don’t know how I got so lucky to land him!)

My first big purchase since I started hanging out on pricescope several years ago. It is a .43 ACA from whiteflash, put into a custom setting by David Klass. (Also my first custom ring) I have had the ring for several months now and love it. It is meant to look like a lily of the valley, and I had it made after an antique.
