Under 1ct diamonds

I have it, I just haven’t seen it.
It’s a Christmas present and I’m super excited to get it.
This was a beautiful but chipped diamond it was very noticeable so I had it put in an empty setting, DKJ and his team modeled a copy to better accommodate the .65carat diamond and bezeled it in rose gold. To say I’m excited is an understatement.

The 2nd pic is the before

Beautiful! My favorite thread, I see the most remarkable pieces.

That's STUNNING!

@Ibrakeforpossums
Thank you, mine as well. :)

@Heathcat24
Thank you so much.

Edit to add to the original post. Only the top was redone the white gold was part of the original. I was too excited and skipped that part haha.

Just got the gold on my mom’s ring retopped. Specs 3/4 ct emerald cut circa 1964 e color vvs1 remounted @1985. Shown here w/her white gold original wedding band. The first pic is in a concert hall lit from the top. Second is daylight. If I redid it it would be with claw feet for the center stone and maybe in white gold because its so white. No idea why she went yellow for this white little rock except she was a yellow gold girlie IMG_7491.jpegIMG_7477.jpeg

Here's my new 0.61ct E VS2 Whiteflash ACA in a pink/white diamond halo setting by David Klass. I'm struggling so much taking pictures of this one, while the pinks are soft and delicate it always shows up more washed out in the pics

LOVE this! It looks like two of my mother's 80s rings. Just love this vibe.

This is gorgeous! They pop in the first pic!

CBianco, that is perfection on your very refined hand. Fabulous diamond and DK's work - just amazing.

Mom’s ring is lovely as-is. If you change it, agree that emerald cut would look very elegant in white gold and claw prongs. The round diamonds might look good set in a shared-prong band. You could use the remaining diamonds to do a stacking band.

Beautiful! It is hard to take pictures of soft colored diamonds. But we can see the pink and they must look lovely in real life.

Thank you!:kiss2: DK did great work, there were some bumps in the road but the end result is amazing!

Thank you! It is very hard, and I haven't even figured out how to take good pictures of loose white diamonds yet:???:In person it's actually a soft purplish pink from close up

Oh that is so pretty @CBianco! Very sparkly and unique.

My sweet ring belongs here! My E ring was made for another woman over twenty yrs ago. It’s his grandma’s stone maybe .3 ct. He was with a woman he thought was the one. She wasn’t and while the ring was in being designed and made by a local jeweler they split up. Into a safe it went for over two decades, never worn. I knew the story but hadn’t seen the ring. He brought it out asking if there might be some way I’d like to have it reset or reworked (at the time he was well away of my collection and passion). It fit perfectly and I loved that his carefully designed piece was being worn, as intended, just by a different person. . I don’t wear it daily as I’ve amassed a collection of E rings to rotate but the story makes it special and I love it for that. It happens to be a very bright small stone and I love what he did with yellow diamonds. Funny enough, around the time he would have designed this, I was obsessed with the ritani settings that were raised to allow a band to sit flush. He happened to do that with this ring. I tend to wear large rings or big stacks to this one fits right into the collection. IMG_2516.png

And I’ll do a double post with my daily driver since she also fits the bill of the thread. I’d always wanted a lucida bezel but they stopped making it before I found the man! Got this one from the real real and even though it’s only .81 it makes me so happy! It’s ring perfection in my eyes. IMG_2517.png

Stunning.

Thanks mrs-b. I'm more of a reader than a poster here but I'm a long time admirer of your collection and taste! <3

:oops::oops:I am the proud new owner of this .29 OEC in an emerald and platinum setting. She should be coming to me in a couple weeks. It checks all the boxes I’ve been wanting: emeralds and diamonds, antique, and platinum. Happy valentines to me! IMG_1595.jpegIMG_1598.jpeg
