Unique, interesting, or just plain odd stones...Post them here!

My 1.03 G VS1 Cushion from Alex Park.

Beautiful. How did you have it set ?

A lot of LGD cutters of CVD grown diamonds would like to cut this way.
It may be from a much bigger rough diamond or a very flat stone. The table is very large and the crown angle is shallow (not anywhere near a kozibie).
The pavilion is very deep.

No wonder they don't turn the stone any further in the video! I'm still learning to read certs and read it wrong. 19% crn and 42% pav. For an extreme it does have some whimsy factor to it.

Beautiful stone @DAF !

Ok experts, how does this inclusion pattern happen? It looks like someone drew on the stone with a sharpie! I've never seen inclusions look like this, it's so odd.

@lovedogs It does look like someone marked it up! I don’t even know how GIA could grade it an H..

Didn’t someone a while back show their diamond jewelry that the stones had similar markings - but I think they were old cuts - I’ll see if I can find that thread.

How did you come across this? What parameters did you use ? Plsssssss share

Exclude ideal/ex cut.
Set depth greater than 63 or 64
Set table less than 56
Than look for stones with thick arrows that are partially black and partially white, and with minimal leakage between the arrows.

These are rare.

Here is something close, wish it had thicker arrows.

Not unique but I know some people like to keep an eye out for these...

Almost there, but arrows are not thick enough, crown is not steep enough and pavilion is not shallow enough. Leakage between the arrows.

Thank you for this. Now let’s see if I can find one over 1.3 carat. Any help would be much appreciated:)

And these..., these seem like a-wall Legacy's... someone is getting rid of some stuff quietly

could you explain more about what you mean by this? was this a cutting style that was popular and isn't now and someone's been holding on to them?

What's up with these radiants? ? They look like they're missing a few facets. Is this what is meant by single cut?

Elongated, with fancy bowtie and bitty heraldic dragon inclusion:

Fancy bowtie and fancy culet. I am smitten.

Pretty! Strong florures

pretty!!!! Is strong fluorescence a concern ?

Not really..., those are supposed to be a T&Co exclusive cut. These are probably rejects of some sort..., weird seeing two such Tiffany diamonds on such a platform. Since Tiffany's outsources many of their cuts I can imagine some of these sources need to get rid of rejected diamonds. Just seems weird!

I like the first one b

No clue what shape this is (elongated modified cushion?) But I love it

heres a super weird antique-like cut. Listed with cushion stones but looks like an ACC/OMC.

Last one. Another antique-like pattern. Kind of like an ACC but more of a radiant shape?

Extremely deep and gigantic girdle, but cool symmetry of the dark arrows.

Oh wow, cool. I usually search by table/depth..never realized exactly what girdles do.
