Hi girls. I haven''t posted here in a while but I wanted to let you all know that I''ve been obsessed with this board since I found it back in May. I check it virually every day. For some reason I couldn''t post to my original post so I thought I''d give you an update here.

I originaly found this board and was able to vent all my frustrations to you all. I can''t tell you how much it helped me at the time. I''ve realized what I have in my relationship and that it isn''t worth it to me to pressure him in any way. I''m enjoying being in love and living my life. Things between us have been amazing and I really couldn''t be happier. I know that in time he will make the commitment and I can''t be brought into evaluating my relationship based on other couples decisons that we know. Does that make sense?

When we talk about the future, which we do alot, things are much more lighthearted now. At least on my end. I know that we have a future together and right now that is all that matters.

On another note, one thing this site has allowed me to do is become very knowledgeable in the diamond arena. I know that is what this site is for but for me its meant a lot more than that.

I was walking up Madison Ave in the 60''s the other day drooling over all the diamonds in the window. When I first came to this site I was 90% sure that I only loved emeralds and asschers. While I''m now switiching my favorite back to the asscher with a pave halo...I''ve realized that I love all diamonds! I wish that I wasn''t so obsessed with them. Does this ever happen to anyone else? One day you are 90% sure about one thing and the next day you are 100% sure of something completley different. One thing I am sure of, when my boyfriend does decide to buy me a ring he''ll get it right. He does second guess his artistic ablilites but he is always so on.

All you ladies out there with Leon''s and Mytal creations...I''m am drooling with Envy everytime you post one of your new diamonds. I''m so impressed with the dainty clasics they come up with. Hopefully one day I will own one myself. Till then I''ll keep checking to see who is next.

Until I found this site, I was 100% sure I wanted a Princess cut, but after viewing all the beautiful, amazing rings of all shapes and sizes on this site, I am not sure anymore!!! Too many choices!!!

I know! Its funny, I only know that I am not a: round bril., princess, radiant girl. Other than that, my fav again is the asscher and then the emerald but who knows cause I love cushion and oval too. I guess there are worse problems to have.

I am right there with you!! Five years ago, I was dead-set on princess. Three years ago, I started reeeeaally disliking them... not sure why? Anyway, Ever since then I''ve been bouncing between cushion, asscher, radiant (and any of the other non-princess squares... flanders, jubilee, etc).

What''s even MORE annoying is that I find I like differend cuts in different sizes! Anything under a carat, cushion. Over 1.1, radiant. If I can push over 1.7 (yeah right!), asscher! I''ve definitely been bit by the PS bug!

Congratulations on the state of your relationship, it sounds so comfortable and loving.

We''re still in the serious talks/frustration stage, so hopefully we''ll be where you are soon.

Until I happened upon pricescope, I was certain I wanted Tacori, but knew that was not an option, so I shelved it and thought about wishing for something really simple like a round with side baguettes. Of course then I saw all the lovely photos of pave set rings and found out how affordable custom settings can be, and now I am set on that. Baguettes setting---eternity pave setting--- those seem a bit opposite to me. Ah well, when your a LIW I guess you have the luxery of changing your mind a few times.

Yeah, I too have changed my mind a lot about diamonds. When I stumbled on this site, I thought I liked princess and emerald cuts. But... then, I decided to go try on a bunch of different diamonds at a bunch of stores to see what I thought looked the best on my hand, and I was totally surprised! I had always hated round cut diamonds, thought they were a little boring and old-fashiioned. SURPRISE, SURPRISE, when I put a round cut diamond on my hand, it looked amazing! Wierd how that happens... I still love the emerald and princess, but they''re not for me...

I can''t decide what I want either. I was positive that I wanted an asscher. But, now I seem to be looking more at old mine cuts and european cuts. Antique rings, not antique style. But, I also love ovals. Then there''s cushions....wow. And then, radiants are so pretty. And then, I love the unique shape of pears. Poor David.
