So, remember how Princess Victoria of Sweden recently got engaged? Well now her younger sister, Princess Madeleine, is also engaged!

I have not found a picture of the ring, unfortunately. If anyone finds one please post! I'd love to see it. Thanks.

In the meantime, here's a picture of the happy couple. Gorgeous! Seriously good genes in that family.

No jewelry, but some truth to those words. Here's their brother - nice head of hair!! Maybe I can find some cufflinks or something so I can post more pics of him.

Ah, makes sense. Still odd the way the surface looks almost pitted in the pic AdiS posted. I love moonstone though, kudos for them for going their own way. I just hope she is super careful with her hands!

This comment made me curious about the hardness (or actually softness in this case) of moonstone. Just for reference, moonstone rates about a 6-6.5 on Moh''s Scale. Below is more information about the scale:

"The Moh''s Scale measures the relative hardness of various substances. It uses ten reference minerals. The hardness of a substance is determined by scratching it against a reference mineral. If it scratches that mineral, then it is of equal hardness or harder than that mineral, otherwise it is softer then that mineral. The picture below shows the minerals that are used on the Moh''s Scale."
