Ok, so this thread has slowed and that makes me sad. No new celeb engagements, only divorces, which does no good to any of us. I live on this celebrity ring thread, don''t post much, but it''s my life line, and it must not die just because Hollywood is in an unromantic mood. So I dug around an extremely obnoxious website full of ads that screamed at me, looking for any ''as yet unposted'' ring shots. And, voila! A to die for shot of Avril Lavigne''s monster ring. Not sure on the specs, but it must be record breaking. Looks heavy.

Sorry about it being so big. I sized it down, and it just wasn''t nearly as magical. So, here it is, larger than life.

Oh, and for all you Jessica Simpson ring lovers out there, fear not! Just because they are divorced, doesn''t mean that awesome wedding set can''t live on through all of eternity. I have logged an embarrasing amount of hours on a Jessica Simpson fan site, digging through folder after folder, saving every last one with a respectable ring shot. So I have many to add any time this thread needs a boost.

Did you see the pic of Oprah''s ring that is in In Touch magazine, page 33?? Looks gorgeous. It''s a large pear flanked by pears in platinum. Stedman gave it to her ages ago as her ering and is going to be wearing it when her show begins next month. Or so they say...
