I was recently engaged about 3 weeks ago and I've been so in love with my diamond ring (round halo ring) that I've been cleaning it in warm dish soap water every 2 days. I would use a soft bristle tooth brush and carefully brush any grease/debris on the accent stones and center diamond's face. I'm extra careful about the prongs and would hold the face of the center stone while gently brushing the pavilion of the diamond. Yesterday, I made the mistake of using the old toothbrush head of my electric toothbrush (just the head, not the actual electric toothbrush) and I noticed today that the diamond is uneven! I can hear a little noise when I shake the ring. Should I bring it in? What will they need to do to even it? Would I risk chipping the diamond if I didn't bring it in?
The prongs looks secure and the diamond does not move when I push the diamond with my pinky..thanks so much!
