Probably, but I have my other emeralds I enjoy more, and the oil has dried out long ago, and they still look a million times better than this one. I would forever think this stone is an ugly duckling (not a duck neck, lol) in disguise. The color is nice, but it’s just too included. The whitish inclusions disappear in incandescent light at least.Would "reoiling" help the appearance of this one!? I like the arm length photo since we generally enjoy them from this distance anyway.
I’m currently setting the smaller one all the way in the left hand top corner. I have a setting that fits it, but my jeweler told me I need an 8x10mm deep size setting for the biggest one (2.8 cts - he weighed it). I’m thinking rose gold as it looks really neon and bluish in that metal. My duck neck was in a platinum diamond setting, but it got chipped during setting, so I took it out. It needs some polishing out. The smallest one will be set one of these days.I see the difference from these...bluish green glow vs green glow! Thanks. You need to set them so they don't sit in a dark place!
Going to give you a heart attack with those ring holders? ...

The duck neck sits very low in that setting. You have valid concerns about bezels and emeralds, not to mention the added stress it puts on the fissures.I see the girdle of yours but Berry's bezel comes all the way above the girdle...? I guess her is still lighted up.
It always scares me to by a ring like hers because what if I paid for a doublet!
I took my emeralds out of the bank this morning. I think it’s easier to see glow and clarity with their tables face down. The Duck Neck green one is closest to the camera and I took a shot of it by itself to show the glow. It’s dark toned and very saturated. The sun brightens the tone. The largest is my medium toned and looks very similar to the emerald in the ring photo (not mine). I’m setting that one soon. The fuzzies are from the cotton they’re sitting in.
Our regular green lights are the perfect blue green (: Im sure theyre different everywhere.
And I know right?
Green light emeralds should be a thang
Then there’s this lady, who has a smaller more attainable, and attractive ering stone from George.

Thank you @SunguraI love that you show these face down. I have recently realized It is a great way to show the body color for emeralds
These are gorgeous!!! Thank you sooooo much for sharing them
How long did you spend just gazing at them?!?!
They do glow, and the green IRL, as you can attest to seeing so many emeralds, is beyond what any camera can capture. I just hope my photo attempts in this thread helped people gain a deeper appreciation for this amazing gem.
It’s beautiful but not as high quality as the 18 carat Rockerfeller emerald that Harry Winston bought for $4.5 million USD. That thing was not only top color, impeccably cut, but as clean as a whistle and very ducky.
Yes, it’s one of the finest emeralds to ever be unearthed, or gems for that matter.I don't even really like emeralds, but I would literally sell a limb for that 18 carat ring! Probably a leg so I still had 2 hands for rings
