Vendor pictures and owner pictures of PS stones

My latest and greatest. The zircons have the slightest hint of pink to them-Michael pointed it out to me, and a couple eagle eyes here spotted it, but I don't really notice it. The supernova chrysoberyl has a touch of green in it, apparent in certain lighting and some pictures show the green, tho some pics make it look more golden too. Mostly it's a lemony yellow. The pink tourmaline is a very delicate, feminine pink. The peachy bits in my picture must be from my skin or something b/c I don't see it IRL. Barry's yellow chryso is a pastel yellow, very pretty. Cutting on all of them is amazing!

my first loose colored stone!

a light pinkish purple 1.74ct Vietnamese amethyst from osirisgems

i bought the gem as it was inexpensive, and didn't have high hopes

so when it arrived, it was a pleasant surprise :appl:

IRL the gem is more saturated than shown on the vendor's pic, and reminded me of grape candy with pleasing pink flashes

my ammy-2 pic is the closest to how its color looks like, IRL the stone is a shade lighter and slightly glowy

Here are a few stones I bought in the last month or so. And now I've managed to get photos off my phone without the computer crashing, I can join in too! ;)

First is a green tourmaline from Barry. It's quite dark but when the light hits it you get gorgeous green flashes, and a lovely blue-green colour can be seen from the side. Barry's pic is unsurprisingly, spot on.

Second is a fairly cheap pink tourmaline from GemDD on eBay. Definitly looks better in the vendor pic, but it's okay for the money.

Whoops, forgot one! Last is a Tanga Rohdonite from Litnon. Their pic is very accurate. My pic was taken in incandescent light, but when it daylight it looks a bit more pink like the vendor photo.
