wanted: antique style jade necklace

Hi All--

It''s my first mother''s day as a mom...so I wanted to find something special for a present. I''ve been sending the hubby out to find me an antique-style jade necklace...but he hasn''t found much to select from. I''m looking for something antique/filligree style...I''m kinda into the retro/old fashioned kind of jewelry.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on where to find any jade necklaces?

Here's a Jade necklace, but not sure how "antique" jade necklaces get... Considering Jade is from the Orient, they tend to look more simplified and polished, than antique set, but it's possible, I suppose...

Older pieces come up every now an then (try Trocadero.com, maybe ?) but not too many and the quality of the jade stones themselves is often disapointing. Would it be unthinkable to have one made?

And no... I am not sure what you have in mind. Is there an example online to help? Even for the style only, if it is not a jade piece.
