I am ecstatic but in shock, 7 years later and my boyfriend is finally serious about proposing. We had our appointment at Marisa perry and it went amazing. We looked at stones and I basically went with what I liked and eliminated by eye. She showed us 4 stones in total. I was stuck between two stones both stones we H color 1.20ct, the only notable difference on paper is that one stone is VS1 and the other was VS2. Ultimately I went with the VS2 because it looked better to my eye. Now im just wondering if I made the right choice because...

Yay, congratulations! If both stones look good to you, I would also be inclined to choose the stone with lower clarity because I assume it'll be cheaper. Have you decided on a setting?

Yay, congratulations! If both stones look good to you, I would also be inclined to choose the stone with lower clarity because I assume it'll be cheaper. Have you decided on a setting?

We decided on the Larissa micropave platinum setting... Now I just have to be patient which I'm sure is probably the hardest part.

Well you picked the one that was visually more pleasing to you... so I'd say yes... you made the right choice! What your eyes like trumps what's on paper... in my opinion anyhow. Congrats!!! How exciting!

Since I was so involved in picking the ring I think he going to play the waiting game. He still wants that element of surprise so I'm sure ill have to hold tight for atleast another month or two I hope I can make it! Lol I am already a nervous wreck.

Oh, I feel you. My boyfriend and I just chose my stone and ring too (a week ago to date actually) and it's being delivered next Thursday. He said he's keeping it in his safe until he proposes. Like you... I was very involved as well!! Since he purchased it... I can't stop thinking of it and can't wait to meet it in person. It's all I think about! Ahhh.
