Hello all

My e-ring is a lucida inspired 1.01 carat princess cut, F, SI1 (although i cant actually see anything) platinum.

i love it (tried posting pictures but it keeps rejecting me and then deleting my whole post which is frustrating but never mind ;-))

My question is this ... i am in love with micro-pave/pave and i was thinking that i might like 2 very fine micro pave bands to wear either side (split wedder) and if i get sick of that i can just stack them.

But since im a long time lurker, ive learned that micro pave isnt great at holding up to everyday wear and my wedding bands will never come off, so i guess they need to be a bit hardy?

Can i please get some advice on whether im better off getting another style (and what that might be) or whether i should be okay? What about 2 fine bands with just smaller princess cut diamonds?? The reason i dont think that will work as well is that i love the ''thin'' bands and i dont know how else i can get this look ... bagettes??

Help price-scope experts! Help!

thank you so much.

You could try getting a thin shared prong band, but I don''t know if it''s more secure than the pave. You might as well just get some thin pave bands for some place that has some sort of guarantee, that they''ll replace whatever pops out. Or your option is to find some more sturdy handmade pave bands? (I''m not sure if handmade will make it really more sturdy)

As for the picture- try retitling your picture and then post again =) That worked for me...

Since you love the thin micro pave bands I would get them and make sure you''ve got a warranty to cover any problems you might have down the road.

On posting pictures make sure the size is will under 100K and name them something weird like mjrng01 so there isn''t likely to already be a file with that name posted. Good luck.

I have an ultra-thin micropave band that I got from Macy''s, and I wear that to the gym instead of my regular e-ring and w-band. That little thing is VERY tough, for micropave!
