Wow--you look gorgeous in those dresses! I like numbers 1-3 best. I agree with what you said about Reems--very pretty, but they just don''t show off your lovely figure very well. There''s much more definition in your bust & waist in the other dresses.

I also agree that dress #2 looks very Grace Kelly. It''s so lovely & classic looking with a bit of 50''s flair. Dress #3 is just stunning & dramatic. I think the skirt is more fluid than some pick-up skirts I''ve seen. Dress #1 is very lovely too. You could always get a cathedral length veil (maybe studded w/ crystals) if you want to dress up the train on this gown. Which one makes you feel giddy?

I vote for 1. It''s simple and classy, with just enough details to make it sophisticated.

I like #1 and #2--maybe #2 a little bit more. I love the top of #3 but the bottom is just too much. While I normally love Reem Acra, I don''t think those 2 flatter your figure as much. That being said, you look amazing in all of them but if I had to pick I would probably go with #2.

PurplePassion- i think that's the look i am going for- classy, sophisticated- but still that OMGosh look. I really don't want to look back at pics and think- what was i thinking????!!

curlygirl- that's what i thought about #3- loved the bodice, but thought a differnt maybe box pleated skirt for the front instead. but who knows, maybe it makes my waist look that good because of such a full skirt- look at the Reems - maybe that's why they aren't so flattering.

I really loved the Reems on, but in pics they don't look like the best options.

i found a model pic of dress 2 that i thought i''d share.

Let me say, Jcrow- you look beautiful in all the dresses, you have the cutest little figure!

That said, I love the 1st and 3rd. The dress that you have posted above here is GORGEOUS as well, but I have to say that you look A LOT better in the dress than that skin and bones model!!!! :)

Oh my god, that model needs to eat a few cheeseburgers and some cookies!! jcrow, I think dress #2 looks much better on you than it does on her!

I LOVE number 2 and 3 on you! To play the devils advocate role... I''d say 2 is more classic and in photos won''t look so- "I got married in the mid 00''s"- but 3 is just stunning on you!

Dress 2!! Dress 2!! I think it looks so elegant and timeless, and really flatters your incredible figure!! I am very, very picky when it comes to formal dresses (I dragged my mother across the state to find my prom dress ...) and I love that dress. ( I actually haven''t found to many I''m crazy about) Its gorgeous!!

thanks. here''s another shot of me in Dress 2.

the skirt doesn''t have the poof that it has on the model

really that''s my complaint about Dress 3 as well. i do love it, but it can look very dated very quickly.

Try on a different slip underneath

.

I really liked #1, but I''m a simple kind of gal
2.gif
. But the one you just posed (#2 I think?) is also very nice, and I don''t think it will look dated anytime soon

I LOVE LOVE LOVE #2 and #3.. If you feel like #3 would get dated, then don''t get it, but it does look stunning on you!! I really think #2 is classic and simple and elegant, which is the way I would want to be remembered on my wedding day. Go for what you feel great in and what is most representative of your taste, that way you can''t go wrong!!

well, we are definitely going to do more looking. i think we are giong check out the few left in new orleans, and head to houston again to check out other stores.

Number 2 was my favorite, even before I saw your comments. It is very classy and a little different (with the waist) than I''ve seen lately. The train is also gorgeous and not as poofy as some of the others.

thanks for all of your comments. it''s really nice to get feedback.

the place we are going to this weekend for a Lazaro trunk show doesn''t allow pics, but as soon as i get to take some, i''ll post those too.

I know you said you were going shopping again, but I just wanted to add my two cents. :) Like another poster said, I liked No. 2 even before I read your comments. Very classic, simple and pretty. I also like No. 1. It''s funny. One of my bridesmaids just got engaged last month, and she went to try on dresses. She tried on a dress veerrry similar to No. 1. She liked it, but said the same thing you did -- the train and bottom of the skirt seemed plain. It''s still a contender, though. She also tried on a dress like No. 3. Once again, she like it but thought that it would look dated in a few years. I tend to agree. Plus, although it''s very pretty, I think you look a little "lost" in it. It''s so much dress! :)

thanks- tanyak, like i mentioned before, it''s nice to hear feedback.

and to throw in another kink- dress 1 is about 60% cheaper than all of the other dresses.

You look stunning in ALL of them! But I like #2 the best! I''m happy to see another itty bitty bride... I''m 4''11" and FI is 6''0"... so I''m planning on wearing some 4 inch mega heels on the big day! How about you?

Heheee he! Major heels! have to be 3"+. did i mention that my FI is also 6 foot? I never thought i''d end up with someone so tall! The funny thing is seeing our two families together. i remember before mine met his, my family asked if they were tall like him. i said no, i didn''t think so, pretty normal in my memory. well put the two families together- it''s SO funny, Shorts vs. Talls.

I am thinking you cannot go wrong with any of these dresses.. they look so beautiful!!

awe- thank you MINE, that''s so sweet.

If you love #1 but would like to see more beading on the train, you could always have some added. That way, you could personalize the amount/look. Just something to think about!

P.S. Another itty bride here (well, compared to my fiance!). I''m 5''6'''' and he''s 6''7''''!

I thought I alreayd posted in here but I can''t find my post.

Anywho, I really like #2 and the veil you have on with that dress is beautiful!!!

yeh- i thought about it, but i am too anal to design it for myself. i would drive myself crazy trying to make it just right- same reason i don''t think customizing a dress from scratch would be a good deal for me.

6''7"?? wow! that''s REALLY tall to me!

I know I''m late to the post but I had the same reaction--I even gasped and said out loud "Eat a Snickers bar!" when I saw that model.

jcrow--yes, it looks way better on you, a REAL woman, than it does on that model! I didn''t see if you had an answer to Bright Spot''s question about which one makes you feel giddy?

My guy is 6''5" and I''m 5''6", so I too need mega heels! Anybody found any tasteful ones yet? All the ones I''ve found have the look of hooker...

giddy- hum, i don''t know.

#1 was the if i had to settle *sigh* i''d settle for this one.
#2 felt like the complete package, but not sure it was mine.
#3 felt fab. but i really think it could looked dated, and/or that i am trying too hard.
#4 & #5 felt like i was rich and royal (without the big-poufy-dress-royalty-look).

#1 is plain jane.
#2 is too ornate.
#3 is too trendy w/ the sparkly bodice and pouffy layers.
#4 is nice but I don't like the triangular detailing on the bodice.
#5 is perfect. I love the bodice and the train. The most elegant looking dress out of the five.

You look great in all of them so any of them would be a good choice. Good luck w/ your search.

selflove: We may have differing definitions of "hooker-look"... but here goes! These are some that I''m looking at:
